Actually, Legion and Tali have a greater impact, because without them, you can't have peace between quarians and geth. Therefor they give you more War Assets than Kelly and your fish and are the true heroes of Mass Effect.

You can get War Assets anywhere, I'll grant that Tali and Garrus were probably worth more than the fish though, but they had a direct impact on your game, whereas a war asset doesn't. Whether you save the Quarians or Geth doesn't have the impact on the game, the Paddlefish uprgade has, that's what I talking about.

Kind of sad that in ME3 all I could do was buy some appliance that dispassionately fed my fish, and I couldn't have an eager crewmate who cared about me do it. Just stripped away a layer of intimacy on the Normandy that had developed in ME2.

And I'm 100% faithful to Liara so the lesbo shower scene with Traynor doesn't make up for it

I think there is, but it doesn't really matter. Any thread with Marauder Shields will eventually turn into a Marauder Shields thread. It is inevitable. Much more inevitable than synthetics wiping out organics.
