Realms of Ultima - Britannian Royal Gardens

This area is a 12x12 English-style garden complete with circular hedge maze, chess board, fountains, a small lake, and a couple secrets for old-school Ultima fans.  Try walking the garden at night...

This is a non-cannon version of the Britannian royal gardens situated outside of Castle British out of Ultima lore.  There are several features to the garden that highlight Ultima lore and some working bits just for flavor and fun.  

The area can be a little punishing on lower end systems due to the large numbers of trees used.  New systems should have little trouble.  I have also disabled a lot of the shadows on trees and objects just to ease performance.

Installation

1) Place the rou_gardens.hak into your hak folder.
2) Place the module into your module folder.

The hak file uses the excellent Bagel's Wooden Chess Pieces as well as modified 2das, and the Ultima Moongate VFXs by JasonNH.  Please vote and comment for this great CC!!

Well, this is a nice looking surprise! And it just happens to coincide with the big Ultima series sale GOG's having, too.

Does that moongate take you somewhere?

Yes, yes it does.

The moongate system is fully functional, with eight different virtue stones that take you to eight different locations.  Currently, that garden is just a prefab, so using the gate will take you only to the testing area and back, but it works and all it would take is the moving of waypoints and you could end up...anywhere.

Actually the toolset is sadly lacking in pink choices.  I'll make sure to flog the gardener.

Nice prefab Ms Strumpet, it reminds me of a garden I might have if i could leave the toolset alone .
