I posted some of this in another thread, but I'd like to hear what people think.

I think the options for playing disgruntled, angry and unhappy with your conscription are to limited.

If you give your honest opinion to Alistair about Ducan, that you think he was a bastard and desreved what he got, you loose 24 points in standing, and misses a lot of other dialogue with nothing in return.

Also, there's no way to tell Wynne that she obviously have no clue what it is to be a grey warden, except for a few whiney remarks alá "I want to go home!" All in all I find Wynne so irritatingly limited to speak to, I never found out what happens if she really gets to like you.

While I realize that there is so much work and time involved in creating so much dialogue, I still find the option to be angy about the what the wardens has done to you missing. missing, especially when I played through as a human female  warrior.

First you witness Duncan kill Jory... and Daveth dies to. Then you learn you got thirty years, then it is over. A lonely death in the Deep Roads. And then you are told you can never bear a child. At this point you believe you are the last Cousland alive. A line older than Ferelden about to die out, because Duncan conscripted you. That would make any medieval noble VERY angry!

As a man I simply never bothered with Alistair and made Anora queen.

I miss - and yes I know it is an immense workload - more options and freedom. I do love all the details in the npc's, how they are fleshed out and believeable, for good or bad, but they are to limited in how you can adress them. A game as Oblivion had all the freedom you could ask for, but the NPC's were so boring I started yawning after a few hours.

Another thing that itrritated me was the innane sidequests given by the Blackstone Irregulars, and the Mages Collective. They are simply a waste of time and not worth doing, except for money and xp. RP-wise they are worse than useless.

So, Bioware: Optional material I'd like to see? More details to the main plot, more options and better sidequests.
