Ok so the whole premise of the Mass Effect series is choice. The series also emphasizes sacrifice and all that but in the first and second game there was a sort of ultimate ending. Still required some sacrifice but you could basically do things your own way. The first game you could save the council and the galaxy, make humans heros, and basically be the embodiment all things pure and kick-ass. It goes up to eleven in the sequel where you can go on a suicide mission and NOT LOSE A SINGLE PERSON. So why does this not happen in the third game? Does anyone else thing that with a ridiculously high value for war assets that you should be able to shoot the catalyst and still win without the Crucible?? Maybe you would have to have 5-10 promoted characters from multiplayer, 100% readiness levels in all sectors and 90% of all single player war assets available. I think it would be nice to have and I'm curious if anyone else agrees.
