Supposedly Rapid Shot & Rapid Aim don't stack right?

I have a rapid aim bow on and when I put rapid shot on it still seems to increase his speed?

If they don't actually stack and Rapid Shot & (Regular) Aim don't stack does that mean Rapid aim equipment + "Aim" sustained = Takes off Rapid aim?

I'm very confused...........
