I really liked the extended cut. I wouldn't say the original ending is good, I just think it's not as terrible as everyone says.

I still think the EC was unnecessary, but I'm grateful that it was indeed released. I don't need a traditional ride-off-into-the-sunset ending to be satisfied.

If someone legitimately likes the ending, they probably didn't care about any of that stuff or have no idea what you're talking about.

I did, even without EC. Maybe because I always look beyond the flaws, or I'm open-minded with different stuff and views.

I think there are a huge chunk of pro end posters who would agree that those problems exist.  I think a lot of "pro enders" don't necessarily think the ending is good, just not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.  Even the extended cut is flawed, but I can still enjoy it because it gives me a sense of closure and it is not nearly as poorly presented as the original end.
