What's your basis on this assumption?
Assumption? Who said I was assuming?

@Onetrueshot: I could have worded that better, admittedly. Just wondering how you knew. I am indeed a contracted QA compliance tester for EA Worldwide Compliance.

@Comrade: Nah, didn't work for DICE. I've played with that team several times though. Games have an expected fix rate of 85 percent.

As per my other threads of 'interest', I can only state that I am a Biotic God.

I really hope that the "As Designed" bugs only ever are things which are exploitable for fun.
You'd be very surprised and very disappointed. I shan't comment further in this.
Whelp. I have sneaking suspicion that actually doing this job would be very depressing, personally.

OH I GET TO PLAY NEW GAMES BEFORE THEY RELEASE SWEET
It's more like
'Try to get yourself vanguard glitched. Do it again. Again. Again. Again.
Make the enemies invisible.
'
And I love the 'never seen a buggier game than ME3' statements. Apparenty they've never played Fallout 3 or NV.

Yes. If was a very fun game, with Awe inspiring DLCS (They were basically really good expansion packs, at DLC prices.)
3/4 of the glitches are still there.
(And can only be fixed on PC, with a fan made patch.)

That's the one. You kinda have to hunt for most of them, but they are BAD.
Small example: find a way to lose your sword, and for some random reason you can now use any weapon while on your horse, instead of just the bow. And that's not even all that you can do swordless.

Ah, you've been very lucky then. I can't count the number of games that I've played with far worse problems, game breaking issues that rendered the product literally unplayable.
I think the absolute worst was a pirate simulator back in the late 90s, I forget the name of it. My two roommates and I all loved it, but it so terribly broken. It was very rare to be able to play it for an hour straight without a crash or other major issue. It sticks out as one of the rare games that I like enough to put up with really bad bugs.
This is one of the buggier co-op games I've played, but it's also probably one of the most complex ones as well.

No, it was before the new version of that. It actually bugs me that I can't remember the name of it. Wouldn't mind playing it again and seeing if it holds up.
It was most similar to something like Port Royale, but would have come out 3-5 years earlier. It was an open ended simulation set in the Carribean. You could be a proper, freelance pirate, or work for one of the European crowns. You could focus on raiding other ships, or invading towns and colonies. The only victory condition that I remember is that you could retire once you had accumulated enough money. But then you just passed your lead ship down to one of your crew and the game kept going with you playing that guy.

You think LoZ: OoT was bad?
Try Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. and I'm not even talking the original, the handheld verson for GameBoy...

Yes. It was a very amazing game, with 2 cool DLCs and 2 insanely mediocre ones that weren't worth the dirt on the ground (One of them was basically a really good expansion pack, at a DLC price.)
