The Mass Effect series was never perfect & I agree with you on that. I can acknowledge ME1 & 2 flaws and still have a decent experience, but nowhere will I deny its issues simply because I like the game.

None really, Im just being friendly . . .that sounded creepy. Because I wondered whether you like Mass Effect 3 and look past the flaws, like with Mass Effect 1 and 2.

Oh. Well I see it like this: There's no such thing as a perfect game, but what makes a good game is its number of pros outweighing its cons. IMO ME1/2 pros outweighed its cons, making a good game. ME3 however, to me the cons severely outweighed its pros. So to answer your question I don't really like ME3 compared to the previous installments.

I copied that straight out of your post.  You are telling the poster what they like, or don't like.  I don't expect that you'll be able to grasp that concept, but it's what you're doing.

No, I'm not. I'm saying he shouldn't be unaware to ME3's issues, but completely free to enjoy the game. In other-words: He's free to like ME3's story, but to be more honest with its flaws. It's like saying this: "ME3 isn't a perfect game & it has many problem, but I still like it." I don't mind that kind of statement, as along as people don't deny the issues/flaws.  

So you believe that the poster isn't aware of your issues, but doesn't share them or care?  So you feel it's your moral responsibility to bring them around to your way of thinking, despite them telling you that they enjoyed the game?  You can blatantly state all of this, and yet claim that you are not telling them what they should or shouldn't like and why?  As I said, I don't expect that you would be able to grasp the concept, and surprise surprise surprise, you can't.  You even restate the philosophy trying to deny it's existence.

Fair enough, it just annoys me when people hold Mass Effect 1 and 2 up as pinnacles of story, when they have flaws too. Not that you did that though

I think this report holds merit.

No, it's a personal attack.  However, since you claim otherwise, if I said you were a hack because of your ending theory, and believing that personal attacks are professional, would you feel the need to report me too?  The funny thing is, the person that's threatening to report is every bit as guilty of inflammatory comments and trolling as the person he's going to report.  Did he report himself as well, or have the audacity to at least report the posts where they are going back and forth trolling eachother?

Even better, since you feel the report holds merit, did you report the other guy too?  No?  Is it because the other guy believes the same things about the game as you, and so you take everything he says to be criticism on a proffesional level?  Isn't more likely that you think it's a way to silence a nay sayer, even if briefly?  Frankly, you can spout all the exposition you want from here, but I'm firmly in the camp of you believing it will silence a nay sayer to your theories, and is thus valid.

I didn't report either of them, actually.

edit: the amount of thought that went into this post is beyond me. And no it wouldn't be the same because i'm not a professional writer.

The Tinfoil Hat Wearers Union, otherwise known as indoctrination theorists, are going to continue clinging to their debunked theory no matter how much evidence piles up against it. The writers could come right out and say that Shepard wasn't indoctrinated and the same people would continue posting that he was.

I don't hold either of them up on pedastool. But imo, they were both the pinnacles of the story.

Yup. It's just so fun though watching them make arrogant/weak arguments. Clevernoob actually goes out of his way in his new video to say that anyone who liked the ec dlc is basically stupid. It's pretty clear that through his arrogant points in the vid, he's just butthurt that he didn't get the ending he wanted.

Ditto. Every story has plot holes. It's inevitable. If it's complex enough to be good, it's complex enough that there's something the writer didn't think of. But ME1 & 2 where both excellent. Most of ME3 was as well.

 hmm, I don't know what everyone in this thread is talking about, so I'll reiterate my op:

The IT is no better than the original endings, they take away player choice, they make the ending choices a "roulette" thing which goes against the rpg of mass effect, and they depend on future content that goes against the ec dlc and developed works. 

IT is wrong. It's never going to come.  Now I hear of this "con" theory and "dream" theory, well the fact that you have to make different parts of a fan-theory shows how ridiculous it is. 

I feel that all IT supporters at this point are still butthurt over the endings and can't accept them. That's okay, the plot really was me2's fault, as it didn't set up anything for me3 (except cerberus). I really feel that one person can play me1, skip me2, and play me3 without any major misunderstandings.  

It's all me2's fault that we got a rushed plot for me3.
