Really now, is it necessary to boot people for everything? BioWare needs to start banning people for this as they have said themselves that "griefing" is bannable offense. Is it not griefing when people sit in a lobby booting everyone that joins for petty reasons? It absolutely is griefing.

Got a Striker? Kicked.
Using a biotic when others are running tech classes? Kicked.
No mic in a R/R/Bronze? Kicked.
Having a mic in Gold? Kicked.
Slayer? Kicked.
Geth? Kicked.
Piranha? Kicked.
Kill a Pyro before you revive your teammate? Kicked.
Take 30 seconds to get a glass of water between games? Kicked.

This phenomenon has gotten completely out of hand and needs to be stopped.  Tonight my friend even kicked me just because I was going to bed! I mean, I'm so tired that I'm seeing double and she's gonna kick me from the damned game.  Evil, evil little minx!

Get it done BioWare or you will quickly lose all your players!

Should've stuck with PC.

The only thing I see people try to kick for on PC is low N7/bad load outs. While the low n7 thing is extremely stupid because N7 means nothing, it's not too common (doesn't happen to me, but I see it happen to others) and the bad loadouts... well... that's slightly understandable.

"Mic in Gold? Kicked"

Whaaaa? I hardly get kicked ever. And the only time I do is when a party of 3 was too dumb to make their lobby private so they could invite their 4th friend before I joined.

Really on bronze? That's new to me!

I've been kicked maybe 2 times on Xbox360. But yeah, people are idiots who keep saying that something isn't viable because they can't play with the combo well.

i see some classes with weird setups like an adept with a sniper and shotty and i just sigh and carry them. I only kick people if they really mess up in a game.

Honestly speaking, I've never been kicked from a lobby before, and I have been playing since the demo...

I play on Xbox and I've not once been kicked or kicked anyone for these reasons. Please don't make sweeping generalisations.

Just out of interest, would you honestly want to play a Gold or Platinum game with more than one n7 under 120? I mean maybe you're good enough to carry them through the inevitable s**tstorm but i just can't see that as being fun.Image IPB

First thing I thought when I read the title was "Must be Xbox". Low and behold, it was. Switch to PC.

This makes no sense at all. Why would your friend kick you for being tired? Why would your friend kick you? Why is she your friend if she kicks you? Why wouldn't you call it a night if you were so tired you were seeing double?

I think I have been kicked 3 times in my whole time playing since launch. It isn't so out of control, or maybe I just find nice pugs who knows.

All of these "cry baby" threads (for lack of a better term) could simply be solved by the OPs making their own lobbies.

I mean, it's not ****ing rocket science by any measure.

^ That's not really true, I've been kicked from my own lobbies. Mostly because I alt+tab to look at the forums and forget I started a lobby. *facepalm*

EDIT: *runs to check lobby*

You can see people's builds somewhere, btw?

You can be kicked from your own lobbies. There you go, rocket science it is! :wizard:

Ah, I did forget about that.

Few things are funnier than kicking someone out of a game they created. I'm surprised Bioware never put a measure in there to stop that.

But I'm secretly kind of glad they didn't ;]

The kick fest earlier this evening made me laugh. I ended up in a lobby with two players, one of whom already had a vote. Within seconds, I had a vote, too (mine was justifiable: Kroguard on non-host). I decided to vote the remaining guy with no kicks (share the wealth, ya know?), who then promptly took his vote off of me and slapped it on the level 11 adept that joined. I couldn't tell who was kicking who at this point, but by the end, we all ended up with one vote. We then promptly readied up and proceeded to do quite well during the match.

Highlight of my evening.

Looking at your manifest, I can assume you are in the range of 1~3K N7, now if your one of those guys who decided N7 means nothing I understand why you get booted. Other than that can't think of any reason. I play level 1 characters after promoting in pure random lobbies, and have even been kept over level 20s simply because N7 actually DOES make a difference to anyone who would rather play with a person who they don't have to assume has played the game more than 3 days.

I never see people kicked. I was in a gold PUG lobby with a level 1 (not "reset his character and had a level 1", a level 1 N7) and nobody else would vote to kick him. I'm all for challenging yourself a little in PUGs, but that was a bit more than I was looking for.

I'm one of those people you're talking about. I don't get kicked. If anything, I leave if I don't like the looks of other players' setups or if they simply don't ready up. Oh, and no offense, with the exception of this weekend or coming week, your level 1 would get booted if my friends and I were looking for a 4th. No matter what class they really are, a level 1 is pretty much a really squishy soldier, and I'm not carrying someone who doesn't add anything to the group simply so they can promote. I'd make an exception during this week provided they use equipment to make themselves a little more useful because of the objective.

P.S. before anyone says it, yes i know some people can hold their own in gold with a level 1 character. I don't know about everyone else, but I really don't feel like wasting my consumables in the hope that I just came across one of those individuals (rarer than some posters would have you believe)...especially when I can replace them with someone using a leveled up character with the full use of their skills. Sorry, but n7 rank doesn't indicate what someone can do with a level 1 character. I've seen way too many n7 3000 or so players who were horrible while using a leveled up character. I don't even want to think about how bad they are with a level 1 character.

I remember going into a gold pug match, and when the hoster saw that we had a decent looking group in the lobby he immediately promoted the character he was using. End result? Our host spent most of the match hiding in whatever corner he could find, not even coming out to help with a hack. At the end of the match, he didn't even have 25 kills or assists. That didn't stop him from making a big jump in level and adding a bit of n7 rank. The next time a host did that I just left the lobby. If someone likes to promote, great. Have fun. I'm not leveling them up, however. they can do that themselves, or they can go down to a lower level and take more time doing so.

OP - Pick another lobby.

Bioware isn't going to ban anyone for kicking you out of their game.

If they don't want you, move on and find someone who does.

No skin off your back.

I think people missed the parody here...

But, at least on Xbox, it is getting a little ridiculous. I've been kicked a number of times before I even get a chance to put on equipment/change my class. And I have no idea why. I have weapons maxed out and a 1000+ N7. They can't wait for 10sec to see what I'm changing to now that I see who's playing?
