I love how people that QQ about being kicked are almost ALWAYS on 360.

Apparently gaming on 360 is serious business.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like more people play on the 360. If that's the case, it could simply mean that they know players are easier to replace so they can be pickier about who they accept in their lobby. Just one theory.

I felt bad the other night playing two PUGs with the three same people, two of which were friends definitely (named almost the same, both around N7 2500) and this other random guy. Just farming FBWGG so nothing important, I just wanted to get some credits and not have to pay too much attention. N7 Demolisher, I took the corner of the counter and set up shop, one of the two friends didn't like that at all. In between the first waves would run up and punch me trying to get me to move, but I never did. By the end he had 20k, I had 80k, with his competent friend and other random having ~40k. So I thought that would put an end to that, no kicks appeared or anything in the lobby so we play again. This time the idiot friend decided to camp outside, the problem was the other random guy was out there too. So that entire game went by with him trying to get the random to move. Once again I get highest score by a lot, with the random and competent friend getting ok scores, and the other guy hardly getting anything. Yet a kick vote immediately goes to the random, followed just a few seconds later by a second. I wanted nothing to do with those two idiots (one for being the idiot, the other for not calling out the first one on it), so I left the lobby. Sadly it probably caused the random guy to think I voted to kick too, since they would now have the majority.

But yeah, most kicks are pretty stupid. I did kick a N7 71 with an Avenger II in a Platinum lobby yesterday though, and I didn't feel bad about it at all.

Had a farming run once where my buddy was playing as a SE and we had a random playing as a demolisher. The two of them weren't getting along for some reason, so the demolisher moved his pylon to the outside of the console so my friend didn't even get the benefit of the shield or weapon damage boost. My friend responded by repositioning the decoy...pretty much on top of the demolisher...and moving over to my area.

i kick people if they mess up in the game a lot. like the people that don't help the team although the people that have crap load outs will get booted as well, destroyers and demolishers should always have two guns and never ultralight materials for example and people do this all the time

The kick fest earlier this evening made me laugh. I ended up in a lobby with two players, one of whom already had a vote. Within seconds, I had a vote, too (mine was justifiable: Kroguard on non-host). I decided to vote the remaining guy with no kicks (share the wealth, ya know?), who then promptly took his vote off of me and slapped it on the level 11 adept that joined. I couldn't tell who was kicking who at this point, but by the end, we all ended up with one vote. We then promptly readied up and proceeded to do quite well during the match.

Highlight of my evening.

My friends voted kick on each other for fun once.
I've never been kicked before. PC here

When you get kicked on Gold or Platinum there probably is a reason. On Bronze and Silver the only reason I can think of is bringing an Engineer to a Biotic party and readying up and vice versa.

Have been playing the MP since the demo and probably got kicked two or three times since that on the 360.

Have had one game though in which two guys wanted to kick me post match, as I only scored little over 40k on a FBW/G/G farming match. I thought is was funny, but my friend (the 4th player and, as always the no. 1 on the leaderboard) really got mad and went into gamechat.
He told them the only reason we did finish that game actually was because of my decoy. Which also helped a lot with the Pizza deliveries we got in wave six and ten, in which neither of the two other player participated in.

They were probably very disappointed I wasn't staying with them in those two waves, so they had Geth swarming all around them I guess Image IPB

I kick for several reasons but none of them are as stupid as the ones you have listed.

No equipment in a gold/platinum matches.
Below level 10 in U/U/G
Using heavy weapons on the adept class or engineer class (not demolisher)
Readying before checking team set up.
Generally anyone below level 120 in a gold or higher.
All Krogans.

OK that last one might sound extreme but first, the three Krogan classes are essentially useless unless you play geth because you will be sync killed playing them correctly. Second, Krogans constantly obstruct my view more than any other characters. And third, About 3/4 of the people who play Krogans are melee happy then die and expect the rest of the team to pick them up. So yes, I refuse to play with Krogans.

DragonRacer, I added you on PSN but still haven't played any games with you...

It's crazy, isn't it? I just need to start a room and invite you some night. Just plant my butt 'til you come in. You've tried to invite me a few times, but by the time I finish the match I'm already in and try to join, your room's full. Image IPB Want to play some Gold with you, bro.

Edit: With one Gold caveat... I need a few more Silver games under my belt before my Turian Sentinel's back to Level 20. Then I'm ready for Gold again. LOL Darn promotion operation!

Should've stuck with PC.

The only thing I see people try to kick for on PC is low N7/bad load outs. While the low n7 thing is extremely stupid because N7 means nothing, it's not too common (doesn't happen to me, but I see it happen to others) and the bad loadouts... well... that's slightly understandable.

Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen on PC. It happens on everything.

I've never been kicked on Silver, let alone Bronze, you need to find some new PUGs. Or promote, I've noticed people are uncomfortable kicking N7s of 1000.

Not true Ive been kicked out of a few silver matches by n7s around 150-200 all the time though in truth usually when I see that I leave anyways.  I've been kicking anyone using strikers lately unlees its silver.  Most of the time I kick people who  need excesive revives or for screwing up the spawns by straying on thier own in Gold.  I also kick people using tech powers when we are running a biotic squad.  Overload and energy drain srew up biotic combos with tiny tech bursts thus wasting a perfectly good primer.

Really now, is it necessary to boot people for everything? BioWare needs to start banning people for this as they have said themselves that "griefing" is bannable offense. Is it not griefing when people sit in a lobby booting everyone that joins for petty reasons? It absolutely is griefing.

Got a Striker? Kicked.
Using a biotic when others are running tech classes? Kicked.
No mic in a R/R/Bronze? Kicked.
Having a mic in Gold? Kicked.
Slayer? Kicked.
Geth? Kicked.
Piranha? Kicked.
Kill a Pyro before you revive your teammate? Kicked.
Take 30 seconds to get a glass of water between games? Kicked.

This phenomenon has gotten completely out of hand and needs to be stopped.  Tonight my friend even kicked me just because I was going to bed! I mean, I'm so tired that I'm seeing double and she's gonna kick me from the damned game.  Evil, evil little minx!

Get it done BioWare or you will quickly lose all your players!

"Mic in Gold? Kicked"

Whaaaa? I hardly get kicked ever. And the only time I do is when a party of 3 was too dumb to make their lobby private so they could invite their 4th friend before I joined.

sometimes it takes a few seconds to switch from private to public after you switch the settings... i cant tell you the countless times ive switched the lobby to private only to have the public slots filled up before i can send the game invite to a friend

I got kicked for having the bottom score with a lvl 20 Asari adept in a Silver Game (by about 3k)

And got kicked for having the top score with a lvl 1 Quarian Engineer in a Bronze Game (right after I promoted for the weekend op)

on a serious note kick mania is out of hand on ALL platforms

(STFU on this one PC Elitists,I've played on PC and watched my roomate get kicked on PC for the same reasons I get kicked on XBox)

It is getting pretty crazy. I try to never kick. I've maybe done it once since ME3 came out. And was only because a friend want to play.

Was in a public gold match and a level 1 N7 1 guy join. Gave a warm welcome and started the match. He pretty much sucked but who cares. We were all noobs once.

I think people missed the parody here...

But, at least on Xbox, it is getting a little ridiculous. I've been kicked a number of times before I even get a chance to put on equipment/change my class. And I have no idea why. I have weapons maxed out and a 1000+ N7. They can't wait for 10sec to see what I'm changing to now that I see who's playing?

Hint: Stop coming into lobbies unprepared. Some of us don't have all day to wait on guys who come in not being geared and ready.

If you come in and try to change class to suit the configuration and you get kicked before that, then they weren't wanting you to play anyway. It's annoying... just find a new lobby.

I can see your point. I've wait a long time for people to switch characters and set all their powers, add gear and weapons. I try to have at least one for each class set so I can do a quick change.

Why cry?
Also it's sad to read that, if you're really encounter this kind of players then you're an extremely unlucky.
Being kicked twice for using sniper-infiltrator and one for using lvl 5 cerberus adept. That's it.

Yes i did that too :) I was in a team that easely finished the previous game with 3.
It was fun thinking about how the lvl 1 would percieve gold :)
