If I may pop in even as a gay man, Zevran, Zevran and Zevran again! :)

Zevran

Hey, I may be male but male is just two letters away from female.

Alistair. I'm not a rabid fangirl, but Zevran kind of creeps me out, a bit on the too easy side.

Zevran. Alistair reminds me of high school. I was glad to put high school behind me.

Whoa dudes, the OP was asking opinions from ladies, not lads.

*sigh* How come no one will let me have both?  ;)

Then I must drop out of this thread, it is too hard to choose. It depends on how you want to play, what race/class you are, what kind of ending you are hoping to have.... it all affects the romances so much.

I can tell you that after over a dozen complete playthroughs I have developed a preference for humans to romance Alistair, elves to romance Zevran and dwarves to romance Lelianna.

It's not gay if it's an elf.

If you're talking to me, I'm female.  My current avatar is my male rogue, who prefers Zevran.  My female mage prefers Alistair, but that's because she has bad judgment.  [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]

Zevran for me. He had a lot going on underneath the surface, while with Alistair what you see is what you get. It made Zev more intriguing. Plus, I could romance Zev with all my characters, not just the female ones. :)

HP Blackbird: OS: Windows Vista Ultimate (32-bit SP2). GPU: Dual GeForce 9800GT. CPU: Intel Q9450@2.66GHz. RAM: 4GB (Corsair CM3x2G1600C8D2 x2). Mobo: nForce 780i.

Hey Windows 7 is incredible. Software installs fast, programs load fast. Upgrade once you can afford it. So far there has been no problems playing Dragon Age on it. In fact, I could almost bet it gave me extra fps.

As funny as that is, I still think it's a little gay, not to be anal or anything.... Posted Image

Well, I like all three relationship options more than the others for different reasons...

Physical attraction: Alistair.  I like my men tall and built, but without being stocky, and Alistair more than fits that bill. Whoever designed his appearance deserves a cookie...yum!

Emotional attraction: Zevran.  His background story tugged at the heartstrings, and his loyalty to you after romancing him was very sweet and endearing.

Intellectual attraction: Leiliana.  Her worldliness combined with her own uncertainty about who she wants to be made her a very interesting character to have conversations with. She's the one who I felt best understood my PC.

Zev, please, although I'm currently attempting to complete the game with a human noble who I hope will manage to complete the game without falling out of love with Alistair. My level 20 mage went back to a level one save in order to romance Zev instead. Perhaps I'm just too old to find an "adorable little puppy" appealing.

Edit:  However, I agree that Gorim is more intriguing than either.

This is the internet. You can't prove I'm not female.

And I'm at a loss to say either one. Zevran is creepy as hell. Alistair is way too shy for what he is, a fit and handsome young man. But more than that, he's killed by his tantrum later on.

So I guess Alistair, reluctantly.
