This whole thread makes me very very jealous of those guys... or is it envious?... English confuses me sometimes... imagine that... a huge number of ladies discussing in depth why they all love you... or not... *sighs*
Both are correct.

I vote for both too. Allowed or not.
As do I, since rules are amusing anyway. it's a shame you can't have a high-persuade option to convince them to live in a nice menage' a trois with your character (barring Alistair as king and PC as non-love queen).
That would be the Ultimate Cookie, IMHO.

You don't have to have Alistair in love when you arrange to marry him, so if you hold off romancing him until after the Zevran one is complete, you can finish both and still have them at 100 love.

I'm gonna have to try that one on another playthrough. Serious gift giving and dialogue juggling, but what the hell. Though I'd rather leave marriage and royalty out of it, have them both in love and run off together in the sunset happily ever after. Maybe go join isabella's pirate crew, or become permanent house guests at Teagan's estate

I'm trying that balancing act now. It's difficult to not talk to them at all at this point.

I managed that with juggling gifts and dumping without getting too much disapproval. First time I dumped Alistair I got +2 actually. Later convos with both never gave me more than -3 or so. I saved all generic gifts for two of them so in the end I had 100 with both even with talking/demanding I choose. At one point they both started to act totally oblivious and I could have sex with both and no comments.
In the epilogue I got both of them sticking to me and going off to rebuild Gray Wardens with their only love. I did harden Alistair in that game but I didnt make him a king.

Yeah... and what about the Chick Code?
Sometimes, you just want to send them both the Proving and be done with it.

In this corner, the scourge of two kingdoms, the deadliest elf this side of the Amaranthine Sea, fathers lock up your daughters, it's the Assassin Zevran!
In the opposite corner, good boy gone Grew Warden, the Prodigal Templar, the Bastard King, the one, the only, Alistair Thierin!
