I don't know about Goldanna. She has a point in her laments. Driven away after her mom dies giving birth, being lied to, and then put out like so much trash with a single coin to manage her life. She's got 5 mouths to feed, lives in a dump, and has to clean other people's dirty laundry for a living.
In struts Alistair with companions, all decked out in armor, looking prosperous, and she should just forgive everything on the spot? That's a hard pill to swallow for the woman. In my opinion, she should've been looked after. Even if only covertly, but all in all, she and her family are related to Alistair, the bastard prince. She does her best to feed her family and keep them alive. Her wanting to better their situation is not all that deplorable.
I mean, what did he expect? That she'll instantaneously welcome him? It was always far more likely that she'd lash out.
I do agree on the templars though. I even abhor self-righteous, wisdomless, and pompous clerics in real life.

If you believe the story Alistair's been told...which is probably not true, according to The Calling. In all likelihood, Goldanna's mother was a convenient cover, and the nobles wouldn't feel any obligation to support the woman's daughter, since there isn't really any connection there.

Oh I dunno, maybe because none of it had to do with Alistair, he clearly misses her, he wants to make things right, he wants to help out the family, the kids, and even offers 15 freaking gold. From what I have learned in this game, 15 gold is  A LOT of money. Heck, you offer someone one gold and they almost die of a heart attack.

But what does Goldanna do? She takes the money and keeps lashing out at him, telling him he isn't wanted. If that isn't a hateful b**** then I don't know what is. I would have sent Zevran in there after Alistair went back to camp, sadly, the game doesn't let me.

The one real comparrison I can think of is someone (in this modern day age) finding a long last sister who lives in a trailer with five kids and makes a living as a Janitor. You offer them $50,000 and say "I want to help take care of you and the kids, make things right" Then they tell you to leave and get out? How ungrateful is that, most people would at least give the person a chance to make things right, considering said person did nothing wrong to you.

Anora.  Zevran even asks Alistair in a party banter if he thought there'd be people he'd need killed once he was king.  She IMMEDIATELY came to mind.  Even better would be if Zevran was hired by a certain jealous FemWarden mistress who thought she'd be OK with the whole political marriage thing, but then had second thoughts once the Blight was over.

Goldanna.  You can go back in her house, but she's not there.  Zevran and I should be able to come back and deal with her.

Arl Eamon.  Power-hungry a-hole who's in serious need of shave.  He may have taken Alistair in when he was young, but he kicked him right back out when that witch Isolde got snarky about him.  And after telling Alistair that he was nobody for so long, as soon as he becomes convenient he uses him to seize power.  Also, in my own (admittedly unstable) head, he convinced Alistair to dump non-noble-FemWarden.  An eleventh hour conversation between Eamon and Alistair would explain Pretty Boy's attitude about everything post-Landsmeet.  Kinda like the conversation in The Stolen Throne between Loghain and Maric re: Katriel.  Before that Alistair isn't sure how things will work out, and I think Eamon pushed him over the edge. Kill the bastard (or just choose not to revive him?  Too meta-game-y, I suppose) let Teagan (:wub:Teagan ) become Arl of Redcliffe so I still get Redcliffe's soldiers in the end battle, and let Cersei Anora have her bloody throne.  I suppose I wouldn't kill her in that scenerio... unless I put Alistair on the throne anyway.  It'd be interesting to see how he'd handle things without not-Daddy Greybeard breathing down his neck.

ANY NPC with Jowan's voice.  :pinched:

ETA: Oh man, I forgot about the Templars.  I actually don't hate the Chantry (even though I don't believe their story for a second about the genesis of the Darkspawn) but the Templars need to be brought down.  Or allowed to OD of lyrium until they're all dead.

I miss my protection from evil/gate spell combo from baldur's Gate 2. Oh the wonderful slaughter when you unleash that in the city.

Goldanna (who doesn't hate her?)

Erlina (her accent is unbearable)

Storyteller in the Dalish camp: he can be killed, but it's not an option in most of my games.
