Thanks troll, I appreciate it. You are an epic troll that annoys me so much, you make me want to cry and break my laptop.

I'm not really trolling, just pointing out how ridiculous your thread is.  You don't like ME3, we get it.  Move on.

You're trolling. You could have easily stated that just like everyone else did, instead you go out of your way to make pointless post, and you even mock the thread with another one similiar to this. It's funny how you can't even understand what you're doing, lol

Like I've said about 20 times, if you don't agree, say so and I'll respond accordingly. If you don't like this topic, I get it. Move on

Good advice. Some people might suggest that others should take it as well.

Didn't mean that literally, I was just throwing the useless phrase back at the troll. If you spent money on something, you have the right to complain. Even though this thread isn't a complaint, but you catch my drift.

All 9 pages of this thread is nothing but bickering and name-calling, which is exactly what every single one of these threads becomes. Also, whether or not you should buy DLC has **** all to do with "story and campaign" discussions.

At this point, I want this thread locked. But as long as it's open, I'll defend it and respond accordingly. No spam, and no name calling, other than pointing out trolls.

It will not be purchasing the Leviathan DLC. Not to punish Bioware because I hated the ending. And I really do hate the ending. But, I will not be purchasing the DLC because I have yet to see anything that appeals to me. I certainly do not want to learn more about the Reapers. They were so much cooler to me when I knew nothing more than they wanted to wipe us out.

Who knows. After reading reviews from actual gamers and if they don't try and show me that the Reapers are just trying to help me and I should feel sorry for them. I might buy it.

But that is just me. I am sure plenty of others feel the exact opposite.

I am with RenegonSQ... the thread has it´s place for people who feel angered and disappointed but still like/love Mass Effect.

I will buy the DLC because I like ME 3 alot...

if i would feel differently about ME 3 and still had hope Bioware would do something about it...
I would also try to reach out to people who feel the same way.

So i support this thread in that sense.

It's my money and I will buy if I want to.

I'm not buying to support BW or EA. I'm buying for Shepard.

Well it really should never have been created in the first place, because it's not relevant to this particular forum. And as for "pointing out trolls," actual trolls do if for the attention and responses. If they are really trolls, they'll go away if you ignore them.  Calling them out makes it worse, hence all of the arguments in this thread.

Just as I encourage people to buy whatever they want with their money, I will make whatever threads I want. You're a funny guy.

And I've had threads before that have been trolled, whether you respond or not, they flock in. I'd rather address them then to let them flood my thread. Addressing them usually either ends up with them not returning, or they actually will make a valuable response. It's my choice, just as it is your choice to buy this game and it's DLC, and just as it is your choice to post in a thread that shouldn't have even been made, by your standards anyway.

Renegon don't let negative posts be a deterrent to posting. For every person that disagrees with you and types up a pithy response, there are twice as many people that do agree but don't post.

People that open topics are brave to do so on BSN. You've got some balls.

A mature response is warranted only if the OP can be taken seriously. Unfortunately I can't take you seriously at all. "Taking a stand" threads are just like terribly-worded petitions to do this, remove that and change that, that plague the gaming community in general.

You hit the nail on the head, you shouldn't care less what we do with our money, so it's only your own time you're wasting on this thread of yours. The first thing that came to mind when I saw the title was "ugh get a life". Then I read the OP and "ugh get a life" was still the only thing that stayed in my mind.

As much as you hate the ending or whatever the hell your problem is, this is the end of the Shepard trilogy and this is the way the GAME DEVELOPERS chose to end it. You can either like it or get out. I am sick to death of whiners like you plaguing sequels all over the gaming spectrum.

"ZOMG they integrated Strengh and Speed in the Nanosuit for Crysis 3 - BOYCOTT NOW!!!"

Get a freakin life, the lot of you.

I respect the point, but not how it was brought across.

Again, telling people who didnt like the game not to buy it, is not whining. If you feel strongly about the game and you love it, just say so. Even if you don't, and you just flat out disagree with me, then do so. Everybody has a life, so the whole get a life thing is getting old and redundant.

You do know you're giving BioWare more hits by staying here, if I were you I would have left already.

Obviously, I am aware of this. Lol...

Doesn't make sense...if you want BioWare to stop making money why go on their site.

Also, there are good people at BioWare who work hard to get payed so just because you were not satisfied with a goddamn game you want people to stop buying their stuff and have those good employees lose their jobs.

Again for the 1000th time. This isn't a movement that I am trying to get you to join. If you like the game, you like it. Keep buying their product because you love it.

If you don't like where the game is headed, one of the things you can do is not buy their content. It would be very effective.

I am not trying to cost people their jobs, thats absolutely ridiculous. As you can see from this thread, there are far more people who love this franchise than those who claim to dislike it because of ME3 and what came with it.

Really?
"Take A Stand." that sure as hell sounds like you're trying to start a movement.
Don't tell people how to spend their money its THEIR choice.

While the trolling has become excessive, it all does have a roundabout point.

At this point, people's minds are already made up. Trying to appeal to any one direction really isn't going to accomplish anything.

@Massa FX, thank you. I should take your advice, but it's hard not to respond, i'll admit. Sometimes I feel like I have to, and sometimes it just amuses me.

thats exactly why i wont be buying it. bioware does not deserve my money anymore. you can bet your bottom dollar i will be buying da3 used. not to mention bioware dlc is way overpriced. its safe to say that leviathan will be 2 hours long at the most maybe 3 if your lucky. so if you paid 60$ for 25 to 30 hours of content why should something so short cost 10$? in my opinion its a rip off. people have the right to buy whatever they want but i wont be buying this or any other future dlc for mass effect 3 for these reasons. I might have considered it if bioware hadnt lied about the game during the pre-release marketing or if they hadnt treated everyone who has been critical of the game like whiny children(even though some of them deserved it but not most) but they did us wrong and screwed mass effect 3 up big time.

By all means, continue to make whatever threads you want in violation of the forum's rules.  Eventually that will probably get you banned.

As for the other points, to each their own, although I will say that, as someone who bemoans trolling an awful lot on this thread, your natural state of discussion is kind of combative.

Leviathan is DLC that will add to the story, I'm saying don't buy it if you have a problem with ME3. This forum made the most sense for this topic to be in to me. If this is against the rules, then ok, apologies to the staff since I have made an hoenst mistake.

And combative? How else am I suppose to counter others arguements with text? I don't see your point. I haven't insulted one member in this thread. I've tried to get trolls not to troll my thread. If that's an insult then im guilty.

@OP,
as I said before. any reasoning with BSN at the present time is beyond impossible. As is showing them the "big picture". It is really a shame that this forum has become a melting pot for all the ignorance, cynicism, spite and stubborness. It has become a nesting ground of trolls.

I would suggest that you request a thread lockdown from a moderator.

I've seen threads that are on the line of having nothing to do with the story stay open, and nobody was banned. This thread links to the story in some way, so I figured it was fine. So again, if I violated rules, I apologize to those who run this forum for I have made a sincere mistake.

I don't want to completely derail this thread, and I'm afraid I've already started to do so, so this is the last post I'll make about it, but this is not ME story or campaign-related, so it doesn't belong in this forum.  The fact that Leviathan will add to the game doesn't make a boycott discussion story-related; it makes it about whether or not people should not buy DLC.

EDIT: I got ninja'd!  And it's not like anyone would get banned for doing this once—I was merely saying that if you adopt an attitude of "I can post whathever I want in this forum," then eventually it would happen.

also i would like to add that having just purchased the ballad of gay tony for gta4 that there are companies that give you your moneys worth so its not like there isnt dlc that amounts to a decent quanity of playtime. i just dont see how something so short can cost 10$
