If you're really pissed about what has happened to the series, don't buy the DLC and stop supporting Bioware and EA. That is all. I'd love to see if anyone else is going to take a stand or how they feel about it. Lets not have this go off-topic, though.
The fan reaction to the original endings was understandable: not everyone is going to like how a series ends out, especially if it's something that is different than the conventional. I don't feel that BioWare more than EA has corrupted the series. There is only so much a game company like BioWare could do by compromising their own artistic creativity for the sake of profit. BioWare, I think, managed to do a great job at making their story shine through in spite of what EA has been trying to do to the series. What we need is more constructive criticism levied at BioWare, and a lot of that has landed on their laps since the original endings. The Extended Cut was given to us for free, and that itself was excellent content. If BioWare followed through, they would make Leviathan even better, especially in the light of the fact that it's actually paid-for content.
TL;DR: I'm getting Leviathan.

I didn't really like the way the story went for this game so i would not have got it anyway.

Anyway I have a bad feeling Cerberus will be involved in some way: either behind the Leviathan or they'll kill it, which would just be the final icing on the cake.

If it's it good, I'm buying it. I'm not robbing myself of a couple fun hours of ME3 on some weird principle.
Do as you wish. As my original post states, this is for people who are pissed at where Mass Effect has gone. If you are fine with the game and where it's at, then this obviously doesn't apply.
If you're pissed at where Mass Effect has gone, then stop talking about it, and stop posting on the Mass Effect forums, OK?
If no-one speaks out, then you've already lost.
That's precisely what Bioware/E/A are hoping for................complacency/compliance. Bite ME!!!!
I'm not rolling over and taking it, ANYMORE. If there is a change in the ending, that resembles intelligent/articulate writing, then I MAY return to playing this trash, however the state this is in currently...............deserves nothing more than sheer vile refusal.

The truth is, I would not play it even if it were free.
Same goes for that EC detritus.
I still haven't allowed that abortion 'Origin' to connect with it.

EDIT:
Changed title of the tread due to an abundance of people who simply do not read original posts. Good job, guys.
Honestly, boycotting DLC is never going to work...too many people will buy it anyways. Complaining and whineing about it is, and always will be a more effective method... its how we got the EC (though if that did enough or not differs from person to person)

That's like saying, "If you don't like what the president is doing don't talk about him." I love the Mass Effect IP, but the third game, the fourth novel, and several of the comic, really upset me.

By all means voice your opinions. What I find amusing is this guy saying to "take a stand" or "make a point" by not giving Bioware any more money, when that's just common sense. You're unhappy with a product, buy it from someone else. That's not making a point, thats just capitalism, and precisely why it makes claims like these so silly.

The outcome of the leviathan DLC won't effect the ending in any way. So why should I buy it? What's the point of playing through it?

it isn't mandatory?
