I don't get it. Why would someone who doesn't like ME3 buy more ME3?

I think the better question is why they're even posting on a forum about the game they don't like.

On second thought though, I don't really trust Bioware with that ending. I'll need to preview the content. If I like it, then I'll buy it.

I feel the same way, but I have seen people who claim they didn't like ME3, but they just want to see what will happen with the DLC. Some say they'll watch it on Youtube and if they like what they see, they will buy it. This makes absolutely no sense to me.

It doesn't make sense that people will preview the product before they buy it?

Disregard parts of my post to make me look like an idiot, please do. I like being made into an idiot. I know you read the first sentence, but disregard it to make me look stupid.

I didn't disregard anything.

You're saying that it doesn't make sense that people who might not have liked ME3 will preview the DLC on youtube.

How would you know if they don´t like it, if they are not posting it?

If you're really pissed about what has happened to the series, don't buy the DLC and stop supporting Bioware and EA. That is all. I'd love to see if anyone else is going to take a stand or how they feel about it. Lets not have this go off-topic, though.

You'll buy it.

If it makes you feel better OP, the people who aren't going to buy this dlc left this forum a long time ago.

^This explains a lot.

Of course it makes no sense to you.  Some of those people didn't like ME 3 simply because the ending left them flat, and they couldn't disassociate that feeling with the rest of the game.  Others simply didn't like it.  I liked it fine right up until I survived getting nuked by Harbinger.  Because I did, I will buy more DLC because I want more story to like.  This means that, despite how many of these threads people post, my attitude will be the same:  When you're paying for my gaming habit, you can dictate what I do and don't buy.  Until then, join the "We Hate BioWare" unfanclub, and post in their private forum, where a moderator will give you a gold star, or maybe a silver one, because frankly this is, off the top of my head, the fourth thread I've seen exactly like this one.  Somebody feeling all entitled by their negativity telling everybody else what they should or shouldn't do with their money.

What you and many other people don't seem to get is that I am not trying to convert you. If you're fine with the game and you disagree with me, say that, and if warrented, I will respond accordingly. This isn't an attempt to sway you. I just want to see the same people that I have been seeing complain in threads, come in here and either make a stand and do something about their complaints, or disagree with what I am saying because that's just how they feel about it.

People seem to put words in OP's mouth.

The point was that if you can, don't buy it so BioWare wouldn't just come out of it all smelling like roses.
If you want them to and see no reason for them not to come out smelling like roses, go buy it.

As simple as that. Ain't nobody saying you must not buy the DLC because we won't buy it.

The author of this thread is an idiot.

What's idiotic about this post, troll?

You're not an idiot OP.  You have a very valid point and I support this post.  I'll take the DLC but beyond that, I am done with this company.  If people don't want to believe it, then that's there issue.  I have the conviction to stand up for what I believe in.  I don't believe in corrupt, evil companies but as I do love Mass Effect, I'll get the DLC and that's it.

lol why buy the dlc then?

Because, as I said, I love Mass Effect.  My love for that it is greater than my disdain for EA.

Liggy I just dont get your point though... you're upset with what they did and refuse by anymore stuff from them.

But if they release GOOD things that you enjoy... why WOULDNT you buy from them?  Thats what I dont get.

I can understand if they keep making garbage you dont like, you move on, great.

But if its something you truly enjoy and sounds good to you, youw ouldnt by it simply on the principle that in the past they made a game you DIDN'T like?

As much as I dislike certain companies (namely Microsoft) I will not deny myself of things because of a few missteps they made in the past.

its great that you stick to your convictions however, but if you're going to go that mile...w hy even bother with ANYthing EA related since their aqcuisition of BW 4 years ago? I'd of just moved on before now

That sentence was in reference to people that I have seen saying that they are upset with the game(as I stated). If you are notwith the game, why would you buy more content for it? This question has already been raised my other members, I restated it because I feel the same way.

Oh my god. When will you people stop. However much you would like to deny it this is THEIR game, and they have the right to do whatever they want with it. Be glad they actually bothered to make the extended cut; not many companies would. Don't be an idiot. Just be happy with what you have.

Nope, I read the topic title:  Take a stand, don't buy Leviathan.

Not a lot of room for misinterpretation there, is there.

I know people who like certain games but don't buy DLC. That'll apparently boggle some minds around here.

Until they release something that expand upon Jack's romance I won't be purchasing anything. I didn't care about the ending, shepard could've been shot out into dark space for all I cared. I want more Jack that is all, and until I recieve more my money will stay in my pocket. It will be hard, but I have to do it.

Ok so... everyone should just make topics and leave their original posts blank? This isn't the first time that I've seen people disregard original posts so... I just wanna know the proper protocol.

It's like titling an article, and having no story on the article. Lol

The thread is titled Take A Stand, Don't Buy Leviathan. My posts explains that: If you don't like the game, don't support it. I'm interested in all opinions, but lets not get off topic.

If you choose not to read, you're at fault, not me.

Here's the thing: I don't feel completely cheated with ME3, the rest of the game was solid though it fell short of expectations. There's a chance that Bioware will try to improve on what they have released previously in the DLC. Maybe we'll get more exploration, maybe vehicle missions and world hubs. I like all of that stuff obviously and I like ME3 pre ending. So, I'll give them that much at least. I also wanted the Leviathan DLC so that's why I'd buy it.

And I don't hate EA or Bioware. I was just angry with that whole Harbinger comment and they do a pretty good job of pissing me off. Maybe Bioware and EA don't like me. Well, if that's the case, they can be as hateful as they want but I won't live my life holding a grudge against them. They should realize, however, that not buying their future products isn't an act of war or a threat. It's just that I don't agree with their vision and I'm not interested in their games anymore after ME3. Since they decided not to give me Harbinger or the IT expansion, then they'll deal with the consequences. I'm obviously insignificant as one person but I know I'm not the only person upset.

I probably would be tempted out of boredom or another state alike.

It's a good thing I am not rich, so buying other essentials instead of a DLC will be a factor. :)

Yeah, take a stand if you don't want BioWare to profit.

That's funny. Because the money are ours and we can do whatever we want with them too.

That's just business. A lot more people will buy the DLC after the EC than they would have after the vanilla game. The EC was free, but it was kinda like the grounds for the DLCs.

This is BSN, the topic title sets the mood for the OP.  Is there something in the OP that goes against what you decided the perfect, non-troll bait title would be?  Tabbed browsing rocks, nope, nothing in the OP that would have changed my initial or subsequent posts.  Maybe in the future, you consider that not everyone believes the same things you do, and post topic titles like you really want people to read your post, instead of my initial response which was:

Because I couldn't care less about the origins of the Reapers at this point, I won't be buying it unless we find out that it does actually significantly change the ending (which is very unlikely).
