Could anyone point me to the part of the script that actually regens health/stamina based on your regen properties and game mode? I've looked through all of the core scripts and most of effect scripts, so far I've only found a heartbeat even that modifies your stamina/mana regen level based on how much you have left (feature introduced in the last patch), and an effect_regeneration_h which looks to be legacy.

If someone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

The wiki says it's hardcoded for performance reasons. It can supposedly be disabled via creature properties.

So if I, say, would want to create some "Super Regeneration" ability with a long cooldown, short duration but very significant regen rates during the combat then I'd be limited to the values shown in Wiki? There would be no way for me to "override" them (I'm not a big script writer so just wondering) if they're hard coded?

well if you go into SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR --> SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR --> SAVEGAME_CREATURE_STATS --> SAVEGAME_STATLIST, then item 0 is strength, 1 is dexterity, 2 is willpower, 3 is magic, 4 is cunning and 5 is constitution. As far as i've been able to work out, 6 is health, where you've got a base, a modifier (eg open wound injury) a current, and COMREGEN and REGEN. I think that comregen is the frequency of regeneration and regen is the value of each regeneration. 7 is mana/stamina with the exact same stuff in it.

Hope that helps
