I'll carry you. Random gold matches have been an excruciating experience lately, so we'll have a blast.holdenagincourt wrote...
I would only be comfortable with playing Bronze or maybe Silver I'm guessing, unless people feel like carrying me.

By the way, just so everyone knows, I'm going to be bad. Perhaps even worse than I was when I first started playing on the XBox. So don't get too mad at me, lol. Those I've played with on XBox can attest that I'm not a scrub...I hope at least.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any things I could try?
I just bought the PC version today (have had the XBox version for several months) and dealing with Origin has been a headache. Many more layers of annoyance than console users have to deal with.
Anyway, Origin enters offline mode whenever I launch ME3, and I get the error at the title screen (after the start screen with Earth in the background) that says "ERROR The Mass Effect 3 Server is unavailable at this time. Please try again later." Then I get a popup several seconds later on top of that that tells me "You have lost your connection to the Mass Effect 3 server. You must connect again to access online features of the title."
I've tried repairing the installation of the core game, and the three MP DLC I have.
I was able to get into MP and buy my Starter Pack earlier today before I downloaded/installed the three MP DLC, but this sequence of events happens 100% of the time now.
Thanks for any assistance you can render.
Oh and I should add, after I click OK on the aforementioned errors, I go back to the start screen and get another popup advising me "Unable to authorize the listed DLC. Please log in to the Alliance Network with the account used to purchase the DLC." Then it lists the three MP DLC.
This error message, of course, makes sense if Origin is in offline mode. Which it always is when I Alt+Tab over to it.

best advice I can give is try uninstalling and reinstalling Origin its self. I had an issue with a corrupt install of origin when I first installed ME3 my self.holdenagincourt wrote...
Hello again all.
As bclagge can attest to, I have been having some difficulties getting myself going. (Please save all Biagra jokes until after the technical problem wall of text!)
I'm going to copy/paste the issue I've been having from the PC Technical Support forums, and if any of you can think of anything I could try to fix this, please let me know. The whole Origin/ME3 one-two punch thing is really confusing and obnoxious to me, a lowly console peasant.
Here we go! For context, the title of the topic is:
Every time I launch Mass Effect 3, Origin goes into offline mode.holdenagincourt wrote...

You don't have steam or anything like it, do you? I've found that after I exit Skyrim, Steam does it's little synching thing. I can't connect to EA until that is done.
Is you're firewall blocking it? In the sticky they list the ports that need to be open. (However, if you ask Origin they list different port #)

Download and install from store.origin.com rather than installing the version on the disc.
I had an Origin problem early on. One of the fixes was to install the beta of their beta (does that make it the gamma?). In any case, in the settings box on Origin, you can select to automatically install the latest beta, versus the currently released version (scroll down on the "General" tab, you will see it). I did that and have not had a problem since. If you have an old version of Origin, there were definitely some problems there. Hope that helps. I'm finishing up my workout, will be back in game in about 30, hope to see you there.holdenagincourt wrote...

I will do this, thanks for the advice.
I had Origin installed on my PC prior to ME3, I can't recall why. Maybe I did it to play the demo way back when, or to manage my DA:O content.
Will post back here to let people know if that fixed it, it could help others.

Ouch. I had an enormous ring around Rannoch before. Took about 2 weeks, 4 gallons of green tea, and 2 shots of penicillin to get rid of it. Wait... are we talking about the same thing?
The scars may fade, but the memories never will.
PC Only, GMT +7, OID - Haxa6, playing Silver and Gold only, no bronze, no platinum, feel free to add.I hope some kind souls who I've never played with before will take me up on this!
