 As you know, the script by Mark Protosevich based on the first mass effect game is finished, reported last month on July 24th.

Now I've been thinking about this for some time, on who I think should lead. In order for this project to be successful, I call upon Christopher Nolan to direct and JJ Abrams to produce. 

Christopher Nolans marketing talent and storytelling grandeur has been proved time and time again with Batman, Inception, and Momento. By mixing his style from previous films whilst mixing the pot with this and sci-fi elements. 

JJ Abrams as producer because of the intimidatingly stylish Bad Robot Productions, from films such as Star Trek and Cloverfield (the first film to actually make me scream out loud, like a schoolgirl, in the theater), while extracting his visual expertise from star trek with the help of Industrial Light and Magic Studios. 

Cast should be easy: 

Ellen Page as Ashley Williams

Karl Urban as Kaidan Alenko 

Idris Elba as David Anderson

Seth Green as Joker (Robert Downey Jr. if he backs out) 

All voice actors to reprise roles in CGI Motion Capture 

I'm not deciding yet who I think should play Shepard. That is up to all of you. 

What do you guys think?

Erica Cerra would be a better Ashley Williams( the game model is made after her and she plays a sci fi cop on Eureka)

James Caviezel for Shepard. In the movie Outlander he wears Mass Effectesque armor. He has the Look and skill as an actor)

Why? It's not going to live up to the games no matter what. You can't pack all of that content into one-tenth of the time. Character development is going to suffer.

No CGI!

CGI appeals more to younger audiences (look at how 80% of alll CGI films are targeted towards children).

If I want to see a film, I want it to be live action, with CGI only being used for special affects and various species that could not have been created otherwise.
