Don't listen to all the trolls in this topic, OP. Just be honest and say no. Go with the girl you truly love. This is all but a stupid giggly girl game. Don't fall for it or you'll definitely make a fool of yourself at some point. I never understood this 'sweet 16' thing either. I guess that's just because we don't make such a poohah about it in my country.

Or he could go with the threesome, because there will be no stupid giggly girl games once he gets older. Most women will just want to get married by his early to mid twenties. Now is the time for fun.

Yeah sure. And marriage can't be fun. Yep, totally logical. Image IPB

I agree with Ivandra here, Just go for the girl you love. Love is really the only thing that actually matters.

Btw, most women at that age are looking for a job then, not necessarily marriage. Nowadays most people marry in their early to mid thirties, lol. Maybe even later.

Well, here's the short version of the story. This chick has a sweet 16, she choose me to be her partner and courier, she's had a crush on me for years, but she never really admitted it. she's shy, but not to shy. Anyway today, a bunch of my friends and I hung over one of my friends house to watch movies on netflix. Then one of the girls there, told me a story (which is absurd and an obvious lie) that she and the girl who has a crush on me made a bet, they both loss, and now I'm forced to go to a double date with the girl that likes me and the other girl, my date, obviously being the girl that likes me.
This is manipulation (she has done similar things before)

-I can't say no because her sweet 16 is near
-I couldn't say no or make up an excuse there because I was surrounded by people.
-The story was very well thought out, so I couldn't accuse them for lying.

Now usually I have no problem, but the thing is that I might be entering a relationship soon with another girl, so that would be cheating. I'm in a very tight situation as I can't say no because it would make me look like a dick and would be messed up, but If I enter the relationship, it would be cheating.

What do I do?

The parts I bolded in your story are lies. The part I bolded and underlined is an excessive lie, Why? What Don Juan of the fairer sex comes to the bowels of a gaming forum for relationship advice? You know, it's such a ridiculous notion, it's almost funny

I knew there was a reason I avoided this pit... whelp time to zip back up to civilized posting =]

Exactly! We should all be bitter, cynical and miserable.

Better yet, we should hide our misery and bitterness with ignorance, misguided optimism, and lack of accountability.

Why is it that whenever somebody actually asks a normal question, the thread always has to get trolled? I'm curious really.

To emphasize the point that "normal" has no place here.

You do noticed that this is the off topic hread right? But it doesnt matter. The guy asked his question and some people replied with advice, so he is probably done with the thread anyway.

I find it more interesting that after everyone has said, "Get rid of the birthday girl. You're not being manipulated, you're just weak-minded" people are STILL giving advice.

The reason this topic is being trolled, is because no one cares anymore. The answer was obvious from the very beginning. I'm still baffled that a question like this even HAD to be asked in the first place!

Really, you guys...
