Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any things I could try?

I just bought the PC version today (have had the XBox version for several months) and dealing with Origin has been a headache. Many more layers of annoyance than console users have to deal with. 

Anyway, Origin enters offline mode whenever I launch ME3, and I get the error at the title screen (after the start screen with Earth in the background) that says "ERROR The Mass Effect 3 Server is unavailable at this time. Please try again later." Then I get a popup several seconds later on top of that that tells me "You have lost your connection to the Mass Effect 3 server. You must connect again to access online features of the title."

I've tried repairing the installation of the core game, and the three MP DLC I have.

I was able to get into MP and buy my Starter Pack earlier today before I downloaded/installed the three MP DLC, but this sequence of events happens 100% of the time now.

Oh and I should add, after I click OK on the aforementioned errors, I go back to the start screen and get another popup advising me "Unable to authorize the listed DLC. Please log in to the Alliance Network with the account used to purchase the DLC." Then it lists the three MP DLC.

This error message, of course, makes sense if Origin is in offline mode. Which it always is when I Alt+Tab over to it.
