It's not like Skyrim hasn't had its own issues. Just watch this video to get an idea of how bad the frame rate was (I believe it was eventually patched) on the PS3 version:

Skyrim sells better because of its larger fanbase, equally exceptional lore, and open world appeal that newcomers to the series can jump into.

Open world + quality = $$$$$$$$$$$$

Which is weird.

Because Skyrim is really lame. Whoopdy Doo. Bethesda dumbed down Oblivion. Which was dumbed down from Morrowind.

The only games that interest my now, its seems, are Streetfighter X Tekken and Super Streetfighter 4 Arcade Edition. I just got bored with everything else. Fighting games seem to be much more appealing now.

Lol, why are forums filled with people who hate most other games?

Messageboards are not for constructive criticism.

I've come to the conclusion that everyone here either hates ME3, or just have no life (like myself).

Maybe even both.

Skyrim wasnt dumbed down... It fixed the crappy that was the Elder Scroll gameplay mechanics. The lore in Skyrim was awesome and so was the lore in it(fixed a lot of the lore I didnt like in the others). The only thing that was meh, was the main storyline.

Anywho. ME's lore wasnt really held to a very high standard(lore would include the rules of the universe), so I'm assuming that had a lot to do with it as well. ME3 was very movie like in that it seemed that the only "lore" of ME3 that mattered was whatever helped drive the plot.

How did broken steal change the ending? I never understood this. All it did was add on to it, you still effectively die at the end of the game, everything plays out exactly as it did before, all you do now is pick up after you die.

It didn't remove the death, or the stupid need to choose, or make it where you super mutant sidekick could go into the chamber, it changed nothing of the originial except add onto it, which is not what fans of ME want with ME3, they want it removed and replaced, not added on.

FO:3's ending wasn't nearly as messed up as ME3's. It had only one glaring contrivance: the fact that the PC had to die to beat the game. BS removed that one major flaw of the ending.

Well that's one aspect of what Broken Steel did but the main reason was that it  takes place after the original ending of the game, allowing you to continue to explore the world after the main quest line was completed. Before Broken Steel came out it was basicly game over if you only did the main quest.

It isnt.  It is just the people who like to scream that one game is the best ever or the worst ever get the most attention.  Kinda like movie snobs.

No, for example: A lot of people here, are hardcore RPG players who don't touch a game if it's not an RPG. Similar on the Bethesda forums. A lot of people I've meet on FPS fand RTS forums dislike RPGs, and so on.

I've played Skyrim, ME3, Darkness 2, FIFA 12, Orcs Must Die 2 and Unmechanical this year, enjoyed them all and I could care less how they rank in terms of sales. I'm weird like that.

I bought ME2 for $24 at about this point in its lifespan. I honestly expected the price to drop on this game a lot sooner.

I dunno about that... That seems very anecdotal. I mean, I personally play just about every genre, including sports, sooo. I would think those who do only like specific genre's are going to be much more defensive over their genre.

Different company different pricing policies, just look at Nintendo they never drop their prices until many years later.

Ya... There is a lot of fractures with ES games. Difference is the ES games still, even among the disgruntled, get more respect it seems for the games, as a whole.

My favorite movie is Casino.

You've probably never heard of it.

I dunno.

Bethesda made Fallout 3.

Which was Mass Effect 3 before Mass Effect 3.
