Oh come on, they are not so far behind. Keep in mind that GPS/Claymore build will score higher then the rest because you will almost always take the kill. Silver medals for revives next to a level 1 are a bit worring, yes, but come on I actually enjoyed playing with those guys.

EDIT: And yes some of them quit right after seeing the scoreboard.

Play your level 1 on gold all you want, you won't find me in that game. No matter how good you "think" you are your character doesn't have any powers or boosts to ANYTHING when on level 1 and therefore is a liability. I refuse to knowingly walk into a match where you will drop every 2 seconds and won't be able to help me if I drop

I don't play with random people who join gold matches at level 1 unless they have good equipment and a decent N7 rating (to prove that they might have an idea of what they are doing). I won't carry a guy who goes to gold the day he gets the game, and I won't carry geth, drell, or truly idiotic novaguards. Any class or level is fine if the person using it is intelligent enough, but I won't play with my friend who promotes characters just to play platinum at level 1 (yes, he really does that).

From the looks of I wasn't the one dropping all the time lol. Health/Shields mean nothing on gold, at least for me they don't. Screw those boosts as well, only good for bosses the rest dies just as quick without them.

If I'm playing with friends, gold np.

If I'm completely alone, silver, cause even though I can and have done pug gold with lvl 1, it pisses people off when they see it in the lobby, and they GENERALLY kick.

Good thread. I've been bringing my L1s to silver but its boring as hell. Mobs drop as soon as I look at them with my guns. I'm not learning anything. Not motivated. And they really dont want me there. Would rather just go straight to Gold for a challenge

Claymore X with shotgun amp and adrenaline rush lv 1 can easy bodyshot kill mooks and headshot kill everything else (not armored, with the exception of pyros).

It can one shot ravagers with AR's damage bonus. Two shots for a brute.

A duration specced Shadow with a bonus power can always SS something. I SS everything aside from banshees because I cant get the timing down. I sometimes even SS ravagers if I'm feeling bold and lucky. Granted, I wouldn't bring a tempest on my shadow. But I wouldnt try to kick a shadow for bringing one

The you should complain to bioware, since you are only getting 9625 exp for a gold game.


Also, why is there distortion on the map/faction/difficulty, as well as the credits and exp at the bottom, if the images aren't fake?

Screen is taken while the progressbar is moving, total xp is shown at the bottom. Image quality is due to uploading to BSN album, never again! Never! I uploaded fullscreen image but, they are using JPEG compression which makes text look like that.

I tried that too but the rest of my team died after 30 seconds on wave 1 after tring to melee everything they see.

I always get kick votes from my friend's friends, lol

I generally kick level 1 players, but that's more a matter of my awful luck with randoms. I've been in many games where level 15+ teammates simply run and try shaking hands with the first Phantom they see. I'll make an effort to keep an open mind and check the equipment next time, but with my luck, it won't make any difference

But obviously you were going down every 2 seconds and contributed nothing to the team, cause Drake Malice said so in that above post. Level 1s will always go down every two seconds on gold, trufax.

Indeed.

Weapon amps can make up for the lack of passive bonuses, cyclonic makes up for the lack of shields, and ammo powers can compensate for any DPS loss from not having powers.

Really, a level 1 with high level amps is very similar to a level 20 with no amps (talking about weapon based chracters mind you).

I got a score of 513 and I play on silver 90% of the time I don't think I ready for gold. Yet.

I had an invite to go into gold which I took (After the third time. Its jut bad timing at the first two invites) and its lot more harder then silver. I cannot go to him has connection problems. Going through bronze is too damn easy (unless I doing solo which is a different story). I always choose u/u as well I cannot do the same map over and over it get boring.

One week I will give gold a chance.

And again this is me not being a dick there (see the revives) otherwise that score would be even higher. So yes if you worry about score then you are better off with me playing as level 1.
