"This could be.... problematic". - A famous Salarian doctor

Destroyers and Demolishers complement each other quite well in a 2x2 attack strategy. So long as the Destroyer reserves his frag grenades for larger enemies and crowd control, he isn't a threat to the Demolisher running out. HOWEVER organizations like yours that promote the I.AM.LEGEND mentality is the reason my German side begins to show... DAS BOOT!!!!

Most of the members in your organization can't even build a proper Destroyer. A Destroyer with no Fitness is as useful as a Salarian with a Wraith X or a 7-foot tall 90-year old man with an erection... big and good for nothing.

Learn how to spec your character and play as a unit, then we can talk about sharing grenades.

Sidenote: Grenades are not really useful on Gold/Plat with the exception of Demolisher anyway.

My pylon always goes up in an area bereft of ammo boxes. It stays there unless we get a hack objective. I hardly ever use it, much less camp it, unless I get ammo from it on the run through the little circle. A mobile Demolisher is a much more effective Demolisher!

Guys and girls....  When a Demolisher puts down a Destroyer Pylon, their single best power, everyone should stay away from it except Destroyers.  That's just how it works.  Where else will a Destroyer get all the ammo you need him to have?  How else will he get all the grenades victory requires?

For too long, I've seen the other classes going to the pylon for ammo.  Including Demolishers.  That's wrong to do.  That's wrong to do.  You guys get the red happy meal boxes scattered around the map.  I'm told-- and I'm not promising anything here-- but I'm told there are sometimes toys in there for you to play with while the Destroyer is taking care of all the enemies.  You like toys don't you?  I see you carrying SMGs and shotguns instead of Typhoons and Scorpions, so I know you like toys!

In closing, stay away from Destroyer Pylons.  Remember that teamwork is what will carry us through, and teamwork means protecting Destroyers while they go for the top spot on the scoreboard.

Thank you.

As someone who's favorite character is the demolisher, I can tell you to....
no. the only way demolishers are effective is if they have that spare ammo and grenades for themselves. With just me at my pylon, I can spam grenades and use the harrier almost non-stop for an entire match.

and I still share it with others, though it decreases my fighting abilities substantially.

So as one who doesn't give a shiz about you destroyers and your freaking dumb loadouts, I can honestly say to anyone who agrees with the op...

screw off. It's my pylon, and I can do what I want with it.

(on a sidenote, yes, I do realize that this is just a sarcastic troll post.)

First, that was a damn funny post OP. I truly love sarcasm, and that was a nice piece of work.

On a serious note, just ran into the mother of all pylon thieves yesterday. Guy was playing as a male human soldier, and one wave one was just tossing out grenade after grenade without even trying to fire his gun, then as soon as I moved a little to take out a group of enemies, he jumped on my pylon and wouldn't move. I ended up having to move and set down a new pylon. he tried to do the same thing again, but this time I was planted on my pylon and didn't move an inch while he was around. I've got no problem sharing, but when someone tries to get that greedy (and is playing that poorly) with my pylon, then I'm going to shut them off.

People don't use the pylon only for the ammo. They use it also for the maximum shields boost and the weapon damage boost. So stop whining, I'll stay where the hell I want in every frickin' map.

When I use demolisher I'm mostly using my harrier, which in turn sucks up ammo as fast as the pylon can spit it out...along with grenades. If I switch to another weapon for some specialty reason, e.g., sniper rifle, then I have plenty left over. Other people should try to get ammo, just don't expect there to be any left over when a harrier is strutting its magazine. The effect of a harrier that is nearly belt-fed pretty much beats the typhoon.

And almost forgot...other people SHOULD stay in range even without ammo...15% weapon damage boost is equal to giving your weapon 10 levels...if you had a level 10 weapon before, the level 20 version is better. Same for shields.

When I play demolisher I have no problem sharing ammo, now my grenades I might get stingy about but even those I will share if I am not in great need.

This is what I was trying to say in my post.   Also tell the destroyers to get a PPR and use their Piranha ( which is what I use on the Destroyer ).

If the demolisher is not using arc grenades to strip shields on enemies and arc grenades to take down enemy armored units then they are cheating their team.  If a drell adept wants to get some grenades let them go to the ammo boxes just like they would had a demolisher not been on the team.

And as far as just using weapons - taking all the weapon damage boosts in the demolisher tree is only 25% + 15% team weapon damage from the pylon.  If that was what I wanted to do I would play the soldier.

I would not recommend taking grenades away from a Demolisher... No matter which character you have the Demolisher can make better use of the grenades. Constant spamming of arc and homing grenades gives great crowd control.

Demolisher's need the pylon for the fact they are grenade casters so she should not have to share them with the crappy destroyer brother. Considering however the path finding system for the Destroyer's missile launcher power is broken to all hell and seems that BioWare does not plan to fix it the Destroyer is forced to use his grenade power as well. Yea BioWare has a lot of fixing to do. No matter of buffs to the Destroyer will ever fix him until they fix that damn path finding for the missile launcher skill.

It depends on what weapon the Demo is using, and how many squadmates are also using grenades. I tend to use a Harrier or Typhoon, and a Piranha. With the Grenade V gear I have 11 grenades, so I usually have enough for when I need them. I tend to share, but it does get harder if we're set up in a spot where no one has easy access to an ammo box (like the elevated Pedway on London.)

Alternate startegy is to drop a pylon near a sniper or Destroyer, and camp myself near an ammo box. That way everyone wins.

While I agree that a Destroyer needs the Pylon more so than others, he/she still needs to share the ammo. Destroyers that camp literally ON TOP of the Pylon can go to hell.

A good Destroyer will share the Pylon and place it in a strategic location (for the +15% Weapon/Power damage), and smart teammates won't rob the Destroyer of all of the grenades.

Play 66644 . Like to move around the map with 2 powerful guns (eg Piranha and Indra) and be in the action. Set and forget the pylon and everyone is welcome to use it. Move the pylon for instant grenades when needed. SP really useful for objectives and extraction.

A lot of people (sorry to single you out) seem to imply there is a choice in the matter. If others want to take the grenades there is little the demolisher can do to stop them, other than repeatedly set up the pylon in a different location.

You have destroyer and demolisher mixed up. At least I think you do.

Well I generally play primarily with friends so I do have some choice in the matter, but yes in pugs it really comes down to wether or not your team will stay away from your nades.
