Decided I'd do another Insanity playthrough with my Infiltrator Shepard.

Infiltrator is my favourite class, for multiplayer and campaign. During my previous two playthroughs I toggled between Stasis and Energy Drain for my bonus powers, but I leaned towards ED because of shield-gating, and because I prefer the single-shot Widow. This time, however, I took a different approach; I chose Marksman for my bonus power, and the Indra as my only weapon.

The results were amazing. The combination of Cryo Ammo (specced for headshot damage), Tactical Cloak, Marksman and sniper time-dilation is a force to be reckoned with. By scoping in and activating TC and Marksman, one after the other, you can empty the Indra's entire clip before cloak disables, and the sum of the damage and headshot boosts is massive. To put it in perspective, assault troopers can be headshotted in two bullets with both powers active on Insanity, and the gun's clip is 25 rounds deep.

I highly advise people to use this combination on campaign. It is ridiculously fun, and makes Insanity seem like a joke. For those without the Indra, the combination is almost as effective with the Raptor, or even a scoped Avenger.

Just thought I'd share that with you lot.

The cool thing about TC and Marksman is you can press TC and then overload and then just keep doing that combo over and over again and never see Marksman's cooldown activate basically letting you keep the 90% and 70% ROF up at all times.

Damn, that does sound awesome. Maybe i should actually let Ashley live in just one of my ME trilogy playthoughs. She's been Virmire'd every time before now

...Or, you could do what I did and start a new game in ME3 without importing. While you won't get the decisions you want, the only reason you are playing is to get her bonus powers. Play through until you get them, then kick the playthrough to the curb and go back to your import-backed save.

true enough, i do have a default-settings playthrough on the go. god ashley is so annoying though >_> ah well, needs must...

It is one of my favorite builds on ME3. Try it with a fast firing assault rifle, Cerberus Harrier if you have it, and it will destroy anything within seconds.

The indra is great the marks specced infiltrator, however I found the Valliant to be great to, pop up from cover, cloak + marks, BAM BAM BAM!. Reload rinse repeat. Ditto for the Black Widow.

Yup the Indra is amazing on an Infiltrator + Marksman.  I keep telling myself I'm gonna write up a guide for one but I keep putting it off, lol. 

Infiltrator + Marksman just feels awesome.  It's like having a scoped MG-42 that you can just cut loose at any time on the enemy out of nowhere.

Yeah, I recently discovered this combo. You can literally have Marksman on indefinitely and you can get the damage bonuses from Tactical Cloak just the same.

If only they'd buff the SP Indra to do the same damage as the MP one...

They shouldn't allow Marksman under Tactical Cloak if it doesn't work under Adrenaline Rush, IMO.

I found it to be a little overpowered on Insanity, but it was fun.
