- No more cutscenes ruining tactical placement; I'm so fed up with having my entire group sucked into a room for a conversation only to be surrounded by enemies. Whatever happened to strategy and tactics in RPGs?

- Less obvious recycling of maps, meshes, and textures.

- Slow the combat down a bit; this is Dragon Age not God of War.

- Stop spawning enemies in the sky and other nonsense.

The rest I'm not going to worry about because Bioware is stubbornly on a course toward interactive movies.

What we really need are three new skills for handling companions (with accompanying animations and dialogue): Berate, Scold and Nag. We need these especially if a certain Chantry demolishing mage reappears.

Combat.
Everything else I can live with, but combat is just a chore.

I would like Origins like DOA. I def want the customized armor like 1 but the looks of 2. I really liked the dialogue wheel for 2 and it's graphics, but I agree they need to bring life to the game.

Hello! I really want to have one of our companions was a Grey Warden from the dao. And my relationship magessy and Cullen, because in the beginning they had a mutual admiration, as he says in the dragon age 2. I remember in the ME 3 between Tali and Gaarus happen. And it would be nice if the main character for a while does not respond, for example, in the situation that the blood mage to kill the Templar, and if he does not respond then the magician's just killing it and attack. This was just a fable 3. if anyone is a Grey Warden was killed in the campaign that he would default of Orlais. Thank you for your efforts and I hope you did a really amazing game. Sorry for the mistake, I do not really know English.

Optional 4 Player Co-op for the main campaign.

Less dull questing. Roleplaying a glorified errand boy just isn't the kind of thing I thought I'd be doing in DA2.

And do I have to return to a companion's home base to talk to them? Long loading screens make this even more irritating.

Some actually good companions. DA2 had the most boring companions Bioware has ever put together.

Revive origins, different playable races, non-wave combat, make the world react to the PC race/sex/class (particularly mages!), offer plenty of different maps, more numerous opponent types/models, more non-violent solutions & less hack 'n' slash, slow combat to something between DA:O and DA2, revive skills/feats, more weapons and armors, revive the HotU camera, increased player agency & less railroading to better simulate a tabletop RPG.

And don't release the darn thing until it's actually ready to go, either.  Forget the Day-One DLC; having to pay to unlock content on the DVD is just a flipped middle finger to the consumer.  Offer proper expansion packs loaded with skills/feats, gear, opponents, etc. and you'll do just fine in terms of sales.

A darker tone need not be monochromatic.

I've read a lot on it and everyone has good points and improvements i would love to see. However i haven't seen a basic thing i would like and all games seem to have forgotten it. a Spear class....I know it seems silly but games tend to forget them and the weapon itself. They already have a base for the combat; it'd be similar to how the mage uses the staff with some obvious tweeks to combat and the skills and abilities. I'd be perfectly happy with that being a main change. maybe a better cross class such as a swashbuckler using a single sword and no shield for speed and dmg. always a good medium. :)

Major overhaul is needed to get me interested in this franchise again. The art style being one thing and the overarching plot another.

Same here.

It's all about the flashy and cartoony "origami-like" aesthetics and a story that builds upon the heroic main character's not-so-heroic but rather plainly stupid deeds that bring the hero "honor" and awe from the all-onedimensional citizens.

The unnaturally one-dimensional characters need to change, the cheesyness needs to change, and so does... well, everything about the "new" direction.

Making something "new" doesn't necessarily mean anything good for it.
