I have a quick question dealing with the infamous line, "can I get you a ladder so you'll get off my back!" Like many others I freakin hate this line. So making my new character I want to avoid it, so...

Is the violent voice set the ONLY voice set that says this line?

I think you can change your voice mid game with an INI tweak. You'll need to make a new char just to find out what the voice you want is listed as however.

C:\\Users\\(your name)\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Characters\\(name).ini

Edit with notepad and change the Soundset line (near the start) to match the new characters.

i choose violent for my first character and was so dissapointed with the voiceovers, it sounded so terrible and lame

when choosing the voice pack, you can repeatedly click on the same item to hear a wide variety of the different voice over messages...



that way you shouldn't be taken by surprise by them ;-)

Most annoying line in the game. You are my damn avatar in the game, I don't need any lip from you! Seriously, how the hell does anyone put up with that for 80+ hours of game play?

I picked Violent for my first character, and I couldn't stand EVERY time I told my guy to do something he would say that dam line! It was so annoying, it sounds annoying. Ughh Hate that dam voice lol.

I must be one of the few who likes the violent voice set? That line is over used tho but i can put up with it to hear the others. 'Watch in horror as I rip you apart' lol
