OP before you go on, you need to understand that a weapon like that needs to attack an attribute of the target that would lead to it's destruction....Think how chemical weapon use the fact that we breath and are weak to poison to kill us. For a weapon to target just the reapers it has to hit the weak points of the reapers or an attribute. The only attribute they have that is unique to them is the reapers code....And both the geth and Edi have that. So even making a weapon to focus on the reapers attributes kill off all current synthetics.
Reapers other attribute - they're synthetic-organic hybrids. If Crucible can destroy only synthetic life forms why it can't destroy only organic-synthetic hybrids?

I despise Star Wars soap opera ending where everyone is happy with the Ewoks.
Having a dark and bittersweet ending is good. Actually, just because it seems to annoy that many players, it is even more good to have such an ending.

Bottom line is that they decided that after 5 years we didn't deserve a decent ending.

Because that would actually be a decent ending, that's apparently a terrible idea
My EMS is around the same, last time I checked it was 10,580.

How did you get 11,000 EMS?
Flawless play through netting all possible assets, 100% galactic readiness, and a whole bunch of MP promotions.
~3,500 of your EMS comes from MP...
That's equivalent to 6-7 Turian fleets.
Can you see why MP shouldn't affect SP? It makes no goddamn sense.

Bittersweet Mass Effect 3 is not.

With that high of an EMS Shepard should instantly turn into James T. Kirk and convince the Reapers to all commit suicide. Problem solved.
I'd say thats more in line with Picard than Kirk if i'm honest.

Nah. Picard had the chance to wipe out the entire Borg Collective and didn't take it on matters of principle. This after going through the horrifying process of assimiliation.
Kirk on the other hand has a history of talking robots into killing themselves.

Why don't all devs create games which have no ending.
When players get near the end, A questionaire pops up asking exactly how you want the game to end. The dev then goes away for 6 months writing the most popular ending.
I have a feeling that this might seriously suck after a while. But hey, we really would deserve that.
