Question I have is this.  Is the Dragon Age Origins Collector's Soundtrack available? If it isn't available on its own, is the Colector's Edition still available please?  All help is appreciated.:innocent::wub::o

You, to my knowledge cannot get the collectors soundtrack separate from the collectors edition. But you can get the official soundtrack separate. New Collectors editions cost about 100 bucks on amazon. Used much cheaper, the soundtrack is on the DVD that is included, I think.

I went to Amazon and found the Collector's Edition. I even tried to order it. Sadly, my address bring in Australia, is outside the sellers range. The item can't be shipped to Australia. Pity, but that is what happens sometimes. Time the U.S and European sites changed that law. But maybe this isn't the place for such thoughts to be voiced?

You could try ebay, maybe someone will do international shipping if you look hard enough.

According to the DAwiki's page for the DAO soundtracks, the Collector's Edition has 7 songs that are not available on the official soundtrack release. The official soundtrack, available on Amazon as an mp3 download, is 35 songs, while the CE is only 18. So despite the missing songs, the official soundtrack seems to be the better deal, especially if you can't get the CE through normal means.

The CE exclusive songs are...

The Circle Tower - 1:07
Rise of the Darkspawn - 5:06
Tavern Brawl - 1:15
The Grey Warden Legacy - 0:43
The Realm of Orzammar - 1:18
The Nature of the Beast - 1:30
I am the One – DJ Killa Jewel Remix - 3:21

You can also get additional music if you buy the soundtrack for the Leliana's Song DLC.

Also, Amazon is available in different regions, with different sellers using those regions. Depending on the region you were using, you might try the US, Canadian, and UK regions to see if you can find something. There are links to the different regions at the very bottom of every Amazon page.

The official soundtrack is a better deal, as it has more tracks. I like complete soundtracks, though. While playing the game first time around, I listened to the music, and wondered if it was available to purchase. I found it on iTunes and Amazon. I purchased it on iTunes. I also have the Leliana's Song soundtrack. I am a mad collector of Complete soundtracks. Not just Dragon Age.

I hear ya. The soundtrack is one of the main reasons I buy the World of Warcraft collector's editions for all of their expansions. In addition, if you have the physical media, you can rip it onto your computer in any format and quality that you wish, options for which are sadly lacking for most audio download purchases.

Btw in case this is useful to you, I was incredibly unhappy with the horrible quality of the DAO album art available, so I created my own using their font and other found images. I didn't recreate it exactly since I couldn't find a large-scale version of that dragon.

At any rate, here you go... I also made one for DA2 if you should want that one.

It's beautiful, and highly useful. I have no idea how to do this, so I'll admire your beautiful artwork. Thanks.

For the PS3 version, the extras disc is another Blu-ray. I thought that was kind of weird (had to borrow someone else's computer to get the files off, since I don't think the PS3 itself does stuff like that).

What I have found is the Soundtrack on the Deluxe Digital Edition of Dragon Age: Origins. This has the same tracks as the Collectors' Edition Soundtrack.
