No, it WAS fun, once upon a time. But it's like your favorite dish that you've just had 10,000 times in a row. You hate it now. Or at least i do. I can suffer it for a group of friends but there are so many other better designed, better looking maps. Variety is the spice of life.

It is ridiculous by 2012 standards. You must be playing on a console or something.

What game in 2000 could fill up a server in less than 1 min? 2 that immediately come to mind are CS and Half-Life DM. Yes, in 2000 they had better search functions than a 2012 EA game.

If all some of you feel like doing is handwaving off my point by herp derp le 1st werld pr0bleMz derp, then why even bother coming into the thread? In fact, why own the game from this year? Why have a console/pc for timely entertainment? I'm not going overboard with my explanation like, say, the ME3 SP forum. This has no real relevance in my life and you wont see me cry over it or an hero. I just would like better search options. It would definitely increase my enjoyment and would allow me to experience more than 1 map. This game has a lot of great maps and I like to play them all against all enemies. If i wanted monotony I would just hop in bed with my wify

You're really doing yourself no favours. Host a match. If you can't wait less than 5 minutes to fill a match then play a different game.

Honestly that "5 minutes is ridiculous" comment was astounding. My "Wow. First world problems." was probably all I needed to say now I think.

This is great map and I like to play Gold vs Reaper,but considering farming,FB Glacier Platinum vs Cerberus or  Geth is new farming paradise.

I am a bit surprised when I saw some people post in this thread the very slow internet speed that they use. I am sure that this might be the source of some of the problems people are having with disconnections and lag.

I missed this, I think you're talking about me seeing as though I posted my connection here, but I can tell you that honestly I've never seen anyone disconnect from my games.

Except for 2 days ago when someone Vanguard glitched lol.

Disaster happened last night...

We played u/u/g lobby, then we got FBWGG when started.

Even dramaticly, we have Salarian Engineer, Geth Engineer and N7 shadow.

You even won't find such crazy boring team build when farming with random today...

I agree, but only because Bioware seems to have based a lot of balance changes around combatting that particular farming method, which resulted in the cheapass geth we all know and hate, among other things. Other than that, I don't care how others play. I host my own games to avoid lag anyway.

I played with somebody two weeks ago who was host and people kept on dropping from our games.  Finally I realized that I was lagging aswell and eventually had to quit the game also.  There is no doubt that slow connection speeds can cause a problem - on xbox I had matches were several people were sharing an internet connection ( two people playing on different xboxes in the same home ) and they had disconnection issues.

I also am the IT guy at my company and when some of our employees remote in from home to work they call me when they get disconnected.  Usual internet speed is over 20MBps download and usually when they have disconnection problems there is somebody taking down their speed and they are less than 5mbps download.

Edit: the somebody was usually a son/daughter downloading a video or something

The problem is it isn't just me. I'm sure there are tons of people like me who have small issues like this that eat at their total enjoyment of the game who DO evetually leave to play a different game. Less people playing = longer waits to play = less people playing = longer waits = dead MP. For reference, see the Star Wars MMO or Diablo 3.

And yes, a game in 2012 not having the basic search functions that a game in 1998-2000 did IS ridiculous. Yeah, i know, herp derp 'Ferst werld pr0bl3mz, Br0'. I know, it's pure whining for me to expect my game to entertain me.

 people are so freaking sovereign and high status figures that 5min waiting will kill them, and that 3mins for game to boot is like waiting for your next paycheck so you can eat.

Amazing how my 1st World brothers and sisters are so pathetic at times.

 Very much agree.  New search tools that let you get best latency, you can put a filter on the maps that you are only willing to play on (who cares about XP bonus anyways)...

and maybe you could even put a filter on what class combos you are looking for.

The only issue I see, and I see this a lot, is you land in a lobby and 3 seconds into it the host decides to change the difficulty from Silver to Platinum and swiftly changes the map to FBW.  *sigh*

Am i saying "OMG life is over?" No.

However as a consumer in a capitalist world, i'm perfectly entitled to compare X product to Y product. If products have been providing Z feature for 10 years, it's perfectly reasonable to suggest that a new product have that feature unless a better one has been found.

You could dumb down almost every point any person could make about ME 3 or ANY video game to '1st world problems' but then you'd be pretty stupid.

Still don't get why people complain about FBW/G/G farming. Recently every time i looked for a U/U/G i got it. The players were bad but at least i got my choice.

If i had your luck, I would never complain. Its very hit or miss. I can go days without a single issue, but then this weekend all i could get was FBW/G/G. The weeks leading up to Diablo 3's release, If i wasn't playing FBW/G/G then i simply couldn't play. So i took a vacation from ME3MP
