I would love to see a Mass Effect MMO. But I would love to see stuff like

Chosing your race and class

Races and classes' homes being where they're from. I.E. Batarians in the Terminus systems, and have territories where like if you're a geth, and you walk into a quarian facility, they will come after you (the other players) and kill you. Or if you're a human and you go to the terminus, you're running the risk of being attacked.

Have a Cerberus faction, an allience faction, and a terminus faction. (idk what to do about the geth)

To be able to roam ALL the inhabital planets, and even have ways to construct new cities with your "guilds" on certain planets, invest in colonies, etc.

It would also have to be a while before the events of the Reapers, so there would be unlimited ammo, just have to have your weapons cool down, and also OMNI-GEL :D. p.s. Please don't make omni-gel micro-transactions :(

ROMANCE! It's one of the biggest parts of the mass effect series, heck, we're all still asking for a romance DLC for ME3. Maybe player to player romance even. That would be very interesting.

Have charecters we know in it from the other games. I.E. a young Liara,  Thane, Saren.

Aging. It's one thing that would make this MMO very unique. As your charecter gets older, he looks older in the game. Especially with people like the Salarians. Of course the aging would have to be relative to how old they can live. Like an Asari will take longer to look older than a Human.

Keep the Mass Effect 3 powers for combat. If you kept the Mass Effect 3 combat, I think we'd all be happy, just with MANY more guns.

VECHILES!!!!! Be able to buy your own vehicles like a Mako and what not. You will have to earn your ship, like joining the allience and doing enough missions to get your rank up to be a commander, or a captain of a small squad would get their own shuttle.

Have different ship roles, like driver, commander, different people manning the guns, of course with some AIs.

your thoughts? anything else you would add?

I would give it a try. you make it sound sorta like how SWG (Star Wars Galaxies) used to be.... that was one underrated MMO...

You know how long would take to make MMO like that + voice acting?
Maybe some day BW will do ME MMO but now they have enough work with SWTOR.

But, I would play it. That whole aging and "ranks" idea is awesome. But not this time, wait few years. :/

I would much rather it stay as a strictly single-player game, and maybe some tacked on MP like it has now.

I only want a Mass Effect mmorpg if Bioware puts their best people on the job.
The Star Wars mmo was really bad. I bought it and quit after 2 weeks.

I'd like to see a co-op of the game after the events of ME3, how has the galaxy changed and so forth. However not too keen on MMOs as I don't have the time (or really want to) to spend ages online just to keep my character good. Something I could pick up and playthrough with a few friends would be nice. designing your own character (different races and such) and exploring the Galaxy at my onw pace without the constant rush to stop the reapers (I know its not really the case, but not having the whole galaxy at war and having some planets with no fighting on would be nice)

F**K YA IT WAS! I miss SWG so much......a Mass Effect copy wouldn't completely fill the spot SWG left, but it would get pretty close.

I have a feeling that SWTOR was like a test for an MEMMO. We've seen them kinda of do that with Dragon Age to help Mass Effect. I would love to see this MMO, it would probably attract a bigger crowd than WoW to be honest. And Mass Effect has great graphics and can run on lower level computers easier.

I'd love to see someone that works at BioWare just come out and say we're making a Mass Effect MMO. It would save me so much time speculating over it. Heck, I would drop a lot of game I play now to get ready to dedicated to that MMO. The only other MMO I would ever play other than MEMMO would be TES:Online. And I would play so much more MEMMO. It would be a great way to keep the series going without ruining it. Having a sequel would kind of ruin the series in my mind. An MMO is a perfect way for us to have the series, but also preserve the story that Mass Effect 1-3 had.

tl;dr, BioWare, if you're reading this now. Please just say you're going to make this MMO.

I really hope they don't.

At the moment the market is over saturated with MMO, and the bottom is about to fall out of the whole thing. And when it does a lot of the current MMOs will die.

Additionally I really don't think ME or DA are universes that need or lend themselves well to an MMO type game.

Not everything "popular" has to be made into an MMO.

Dear lord, no.

If I want to play MMOs, I'll go back to WoW.

Story-driven games don';t work in MMO form.

Well definately not Dragon Age. And it would be a couple years til it happened. And it's looking like they're springing up again. Especially with games like Guild Wars 2. We've all just got used to WoW being the most popular MMO. And SWTOR wasn't that good.

But I do respect your opinion, and I can see where you're coming from with this. But I have a feeling EA is going to make BioWare make another ME, and I'd rather it be an MMO where we can create our story, as apposed to creating a new story in a universe we already saved.

an MMO is not for mass effect. just let Bioware continue to milk the star wars franchise.
just let mass effect die with ME3..

artistic integrity would be not to keep making games to make money

The next ME will most likely be a ****ty sequel that no one except die hard fans and console kiddies will play, and then the franchise will die. Sadly.

Biowares Star Wars MMO is failing hard. So I doubt they'd go back into the market again. Even if TOR didn't fail, they wouldn't compete against themselves.

If,and at this point with all the layoffs etc...IF there were to be an MMO, it would probably be set after the destruction of the Reapers (atl: the Extended Cut). Where we are now in the middle of piecing everything back together and eliminating pockets of reaper troops (remember even a dead reaper was able to make new reaper thralls, so there is no reason to believe that they just stopped functioning) and every bandit and pirate from the Traverse. That would be the most likely "piece" of the Timeline they would use.

EA has proven that they cannot be trusted with MMO games.
If there is a Mass Effect MMO, it will die faster than Warhammer Online or Star Wars The Old Republic.

It's a shame, because Mass Effect has an excellent setting that would ake for an awesome MMO game.

There are rumors of EA being for sale, maybe Bioware can buy their way out and start making great games again.
That is the only way a Mass Effect MMO could be good, Bioware would have to escape from the clutches of EA.

I'd play it if it doesn't end up like the ToRtanic.

I always thought the ME universe was ripe for an MMO, but God, please not another WoW clone.

They should say to hell with SWTOR. Star Wars is such an overmilked franchise now, it's not even funny. I'd love to see a proper ME MMO come to life.
