Dear lord, no.

If I want to play MMOs, I'll go back to WoW.

Story-driven games don';t work in MMO form.

No. Please no. Everything is MMO today. It's like people are obsessed with MMOs. One of the reasons I play games is to get away from people, to be alone for a while and in a different world. I don't want other people in my game.
Another problem is that most of the MMOs (if not all of them) look like cartoons. They've got too much colours. Look at SW:TOR, it's ridicilous. And I think that ME MMO would look the same. The lightning effects in ME trilogy is brilliant, the sun, lights all that is gorgeous, but not with typical MMO graphics.

hmmm.. I wonder if BioWare would team up with Blizzard for this how good it would be, considering WoW is going to end after two more expansions, they would probably consider it, There is a large fan base that wants a good game, MMO or RPG. If they decided to go with an MMO and teamed with Blizzard, we could be looking at the new perennial overlord MMO like WoW has been for years. The universe for ME is a perfect setting too. Keep in mind that this would be years ahead, I would think for this to come out for another 3-5 years. And by then the next gen consoles will have came out, and possibly bring the first MMO to consoles! Of course you could hook up a keyboard to the usb so you can talk, and you'd still have party chat and stuff on Xbox, Ps4 will have to come up with something for that.

I would pass it, even though I'm a huge fan of Mass Effect.

No thank you. I can see the appeal for it however, I have always felt that Mass Effect should be about an amazing single player experience. I know my opinions are probably minor on this but I am just not a fan of MMO games. I tried the The Old Republic for a little over two months and the game got old real quick.

Pity, but not a **** chance. SWTOR. SWTOR. SWTOR. The reason why Mass Effect had so many dead lines. The reason why it was ****. The reason why we won't have an MMO.

HOWEVER, possibly the reason why EA will die.

no. simply no,,, i wouldnt wish that on Bioware to make a MMO.. most MMO are desperate cash grab in hopes that will get few peoples to take the bait..

bioware tried that ordered by ea to do it because ea thought they could get swtor lovers into the game i am glad i didnt get bitten by it, only one that actually made money was george lucas on the licenses that ea had to pay to make the game

That's why I'm saying team up with Blizzard. Because they obviously know how to make an MMO. A BioWare/Blizzard duo would be quite appealing to me.

Mass Effect MMO? sounds like fun except most MMOs dont come to consoles and i dont play games on anything but my xbox 360. maybe next gen an MMO i want to play will be on an xbox console

kingdoms of amalur did have me sold on playing a combat based MMO until the whole company took a dump, mightve given copernicus a try. hit points and crit mean nothing to me: i wanna see my enemies suffer as i destroy them, not watch numbers pop up

Yeah a console MMO would probably sell a LOT. I just don't want the game to be bad like SWTOR. Hmmm.. maybe I should go post on the blizz forums ;)

If I was even remotely interrested in a Mass Effect MMO..
It better not be a WoW style tab target grinding game.
It better be sandbox, allowing every player to help persistently shape the world through actions, skills, crafting and building for EVERYBODY.
It better not be T-rated.
It better allow for user created content.
It better not funnel everybody into this illusion called "end game".

See where I'm going? Not a single one of those things is gonna happen, so I'm really not interrested in an ME MMO and would see it as a waste of development.

That's kind of what I was saying in the first post. I would love to see all of that happen. If they could accomplish that, I would play non-stop. What would be the smartest thing for them to do, is just make a thread open to suggestions from us, the fans. What we would like to see from an MMO. Them directly asking us. So we know our opinions are accounted for. So they know what we want, and what to make. Instead of them blindly making an MMO like they did with SWTOR.

I have a feeling that SWTOR was like a test for an MEMMO. We've seen them kinda of do that with Dragon Age to help Mass Effect. I would love to see this MMO, it would probably attract a bigger crowd than WoW to be honest. And Mass Effect has great graphics and can run on lower level computers easier.

Star Wars a test for Mass Effect? Sorry but no way........ No matter how much we may love ME the fact is that SW is one, if not the most, important franchises in the world..... Mass Effect is great sure, but outside gamming community is totally unknown, if I ask my brother or any of my non-gamer friends if they know ME they would answer with single "NO", even inside gaming it's not the most popular franchise, it would make more sense otherwise, a ME MMO being a test for SW.

Attract more people than WoW, of course not, at this point WoW's status is more based on the loyalty of those who play it through all this years rather than being the best MMO right now, you can't beat WoW just by making a game 10000 times better, because...... simply it's not WoW

That's why Blizzard's status alone could help the game.

Best MMO ever imo, played it since launch. quit for a year or so when NGE launched.

Would try an ME mmo for sure. Holding breath, was excited about SWTOR only to quit after 2 months.
