I'm not referring to the endings, but more the parts leading up to it where lots of potential was missed.
Things like never seeing the Salarians or Rachni in action on Earth. Never seeing the Krogan ride the Kakliasaurs. Never seeing both the quarian AND geth fleets side-by-side, never getting a krogan or geth in your squad, having a lack luster escape-from-earth, no suicide-mission-esque choices in London, not having a car chase for Kai Leng the way it was done in LotSB....the list goes on.
Does knowing that so much was missed because of EA's rushed deadline make you feel like the previous two games lost some of their charm?
Did ME3 ruin the trilogy for you?

It only ruins the triolgy for me if I accept ME3 as canon, which I don't.

It kind of did, but i was able to look past all of that because of how epic i thought the endings were gonna be... Then i played the endings...

A ridiculously hyperbolic statement I refuse to subscribe to.
Was the ending poor? Absolutely. Not enough, however, to jeopardize the integrity of much that preceded it.

Didn't bother me, expected less from ME3 after seeing what impact I had in ME2, was glad all me2 squadmates didn't just send me an email about how they were and I got to see them in the game.

Nah, it just altered my perspective. Mass Effect is no longer an engaging sci-fi story but more a mindless action game with good characters that have little payoff, especially if they originated in ME2. Otherwise, plot is rubbish from ME2 onward and BioWare has forgotten how to write, or rather their ME division has.
Game is fun; ME2 is significantly better but only if you ignore the main plot and in the end the best story was the first. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, I love ME2. Just how I see the series now.

Although far from perfect, the hate ME2's main plot recieves is yet another ridiculous BSN trope.

No. I actually think it stacks up quite well with ME2 thanks to MP and new romances.

ME3 **** on ME2's Tuchanka's story, did it?

Was ME3 really rushed? It looks like it took about as much time as ME2 did.

It did, but the difference is that ME2 had a very....compartmentalized plot. Many facets of the plot were self-contained, focused almost entirely around character (BiOWare's specialty), and only loosely strung together by the Collector threat.
ME3 is (or was supposed to be) far more intricate.

No, I still love 1 & 2. And 3 has enough decent points that I can potentially see myself one day playing it again, maybe, as long as I don't think about it too hard, don't try to compare it to its potential, and don't play anything after the beam run-up. Actually, better to just stop playing after the goodbyes with your squad.
Unfortunately, it's hard to ignore the glaring problems with it - missed opportunities, over-simplification, etc. So I still haven't played any more of it since reaching the Illusive Man, back even before EC came out. I imagine it will be a while before I'll have any desire to bother replaying it, if ever.

Rannoch_reaper_escape_with_shuttle.avi <---insert 25 second a pointless scene of shooting with geth vehicle on Reaper destroyer - yes this scene was certainly genius...

Maybe if it was good, then it would receive less. Why is disliking it considered a trope? Either way, I see far more praise than hatred. ME2 had a split, whereas ME3 has a majority scorned

Not totally... but at least to some degree. I can't sit down and play either of the previous two the same way I could before ME3 came out. Something just stops me from having fun for more than an hour or so and I go off to do something else and leave it on the pause screen.

No Mass Effect 2 ruined the trilogy for me with its nonsensical plot and concepts, Mass Effect 3 just added to my great disappointment.
Not that I'm saying Mass Effect 1 was perfect but it was much better then 2 and 3.
