Yeah I know...don't let the door hit my *ss on the way out--- etc etc... whatever

I just want this company to know why people leave their games.

So many people I play with and that's a lot of good players are simply fed up with the way this game has evolved. Balance changes, buffing enemies to ridiculous proportions while taking AWAY weapon damage in our skill trees, as well as powers, and individual weapon strength. Glitches. And, God help us .....the store. 'The best gear for the best in the Galaxy....' which somehow now translates into.. ammo.

You said a few weeks back you 'listen to the community'.

You replaced the eighty billion useless character training cards with eighty billion ammo cards. Don't remember asking for ammo..weapons  upgrades maybe. So now I get ammo, ammo, ammo, ammo, ammo, AMMO, more fr*kken AMMO and more useless ammo and 'gear'. 43 'strength enhancers....'?

GOLD 'ULTRA-RARE' AMMO...!!  after busting my chops for 25 or 30 minutes playing gold and platinum.
In the past 3 days I've bought  25 or 30 PSP's, and a pile of Spectre packs with ONE stinkin' weapon upgrade- and I still cannot get a *&^!  harrier. Hundreds of packs, maybe close to a thousand the past 3 months, and still no harrier.
I've been playing up to 8, maybe 10 hours a day some days, mainly platinum, and all the store coughs up is the same ammo I just used the past 25 minutes playing. Big deal.

And the game: the balance changes are enough to make you choke -- its supposed to be a GAME, its supposed to ENTERTAIN, not aggravate and leave a customer feeling sick and tired of the product. You've made the game unfair, unbalanced for 4 average people ( not to mention those of us who USED to love bronzing alone...or playing 2 person silvers) to attempt to control UNLESS you are farming....and you wonder WHY people farm???

This was possibly my favorite MP ever when it was released, but starting with the Inf and Geth nerfs, 'balancing' has simply changed the game in a negative direction .

The swarming phantoms on round 10  that simply refuse to die after 5 Acolyte hits, 4 homing grenades and a hail of gunfire from 4 people ----  they NEEDED that stupid bubble????

All the ridiculous turrets placed every where you turn. and they regen their shields?

The sprinting hunters who for some unknown reason, leave you 'stun-locked' when they just get near you so you can't shoot, pop a power or run away. Husks too..damn those obnoxious things to game hell please.

I hate the fact that when I'm down I get up and my GUN IS miraculously EMPTY, I have to try and reload it, the screen is almost black, And, there is a phantom, hunter or marauder standing right on top of me, so no matter what I have ZERO chance to survive...and I'm pointing the opposite direction I'm trying to run in.

The way swarming Cerberus prances sideways at light speed so fast that you can't even shoot them is just plain absurd, not to mention the grenades they lob in your lap from hundreds of feet away, at utterly IMPOSSIBLE angles, just when you get into cover to replenish shields. Cannibals unfortunately echo this unrealistic behaviour.

I love how they don't miss a bullet when you are running full out , bouncing in or out of biotic invisibility, through walls, from the other side of the map. And the cloak??? what's the point of it if every enemy save the lowest troopers can SEE you even while its engaged??  And if you chose damage, you get a whole 5.2 seconds, about enough time to walk 15 feet. Great cloak.

Rocket troopers spamming rockets that go through walls and containers;  Centaurians that appear out of thin air; The Banshee 'vacuum cleaner' grab from 10 meters, 30 meter flames from pyro's, The Geth 'Side-step' of claymore and Geth shotties that equal about 5 meters, Cobra missles that go through targets and now cause such little damage,.....and the GLITCHES.

Ahhh, the sheer pile of bugs, glitches and server mishaps that make enemies invincible and invisible, leave no ammo or grenades for ANYONE in the middle of a platinum;  the loss of connection on round 10, seconds after completing a ridiculously hard objective so you get ZERO credits AND lose the gear....Escorts that get caught after completion so the game locks up and again, NO CREDITS;  The BLACK SCREEN which has not been fixed since the game was released....Vanguard Glitches, players warping to other parts or through the map, guns that won't reload,  large area you cannot shoot through where a turret was spammed by Primes minutes before, players that cannot get cover or get killed IN FULL COVER, shields and health that drop to ZERO in a split second with nothing even close to you, guns that fire all the time, all the annoying  sound glitches (Reave, flamer, etc), LAG, etc....etc...etc...too many to remember.

These are ALL things players talk about nearly every game. Randoms, friends, people I've player hours or minutes with. Not about " what a blast this is..." or how much the newly 'nerfed' weapon ROCKS!...or , "what a great time we are all having!", like we used to.

You have a large community of disgruntled, disappointed players I play with every day, who are tired of the way the game has been managed. There has been many hours of enjoyment especially building characters in new ways ...unfortunately, its been outweighed by the downside of the game.

As a person who's been gaming for years, I want this company to know why so few players are left  that the latest challenge is a dismal character promotion equaling 50,000 from the whole community. That shows how the ranks have dwindled.

Cannot wait for Borderlands II...I was hoping to last these three weeks enjoying Mass Effect but its just gotten too difficult to enjoy, the crap store s*cks and Bioware/EA just DOESN'T care enough to fix the problems.

Appreciate the DLC, loved the game for months. I  don't speak for all by a longshot-- but I do speak for a lot who I play with every single day..I only hope it does SOME small bit of good.
thanks...

I personally have not had any trouble enjoying the game, I don't know how bugs could affect how much you liked the game over time considering they have been there since release. The balance changes have largely been buffs with a few nerfs (which have not come close to ruining the game). Balancing OP weapons is necessary to prevent enemy buffs.

If you are tired of it then goodbye and good luck with BL2 which is looking good.

While all you listed may be frustrating, all of it is tolerable for me.

What isn't tolerable is this community's desire to play nothing but farming maps and the easiest character classes on higher difficulties. There's just no fun in spending forty minutes simply trying to find a capable match on some other map from which you won't get kicked because you don't want to use an N7 character.

The times I actually have fun in this game are, sadly, few and far between. And it boils down to matchmaking before anything else. People need to start playing the damn game instead of farming.

Is this game flawed? Oh yes, definitely. It has a lot of flaws. Then again it has its moments and no one is forcing us to play. If you are fed up with the numerous problems, then it is probably best to take a break. I stopped playing for over a month. But I came back after some time to cool off.

While I agree with you, most people, including BioWare are going to think

"it can't be that bad if you're still playing it"

I did take a month off..after the Inf nerf. the N7 characters got me into the whole game again including rebuilding old characters. maybe I'm just playing too much and find the faults more than the good...but there are too many people I meet with similar grievances. It ain't just me.
the game is addicting thats why I still play. time off perhaps is needed. Appreciate the useful feedback. thanx

OP, I can feel your pain, somewhat. I'm going to make the switch to Borderlands 2 when it comes out, if only to get rid of the god-awful Origin.

Everything you wrote is true. For the time being I still play this game. It's great fun. But like most games it cannot last forever. It just doesn't have the depth other multiplayer games I've played have (detailed stats, pvp, etc). But hey it does bring something fresh and unique to the table. Then again I guess Borderlands is very close.

I thought I was losing interest in this game also... Then I got the harrier. I'm pretty sure that weapon alone has extended by interest in this game by at least a month or so. May the RNG gods see pity and grant you you're greatest wish.

Normally I would disregard everything you posted and simply reply "cry moar" like half of the **** suckers on this place (I know my role), but everything you posted is a legitimate complaint.

So uh... have fun with other games or something.

While it is saddening to see another poor soul lost, I aree, I stopped playing the MP exept for weekend events. I just recently ran through Insanity on a first playthrough on an adept and my god it was patheticly easy in comparison to even silver in the MP. I feel for you OP and I'll see you on Bordderlands 2 maybe xD cause that's where I'll be :D

I kind of agree with the OP.

There is a lot they could do to improve the player experience. Good point on the fact that there is a lot of talk about the glitches and not "how this and that rocks"!

A lot of good games coming. BW should do something about the glitches. Its already hard enough to find a non-farming game without losing more of the player base.

While I'm no totally out quite yet the OP has the right of it. Bioware slowly but surely digging their own grave one "balance" change at a time.

Out of a friends list of 33 on Origin (not big true) focused solely on Mass Effect player's I only see about 4 online playing ME3 max. And that's at the height of event weekends. People can say "oh QQ" all they like as people leave, but for every one BSN member dropping out there are far more who are already gone.

Will I keep playing MP, ya because it's free and moderately fun (until Bioware over does the enemy buffs and weapon nerfs). Will I actually buy content for ME3 or a future Bioware game? Signs are pointing to no. This "beta" kinda feels like Firefall. Devs have got a good idea/concept but just can't seem to make it come together.

*edit*

And ya, WTF is with Sliver being almost harder then SP insanity mode these days. Seriously, try a 180 on your "balance" direction Bioware. Your never going to beat the farmers, not with your ****ty ass store setup which basically encourages it. You want to stop or reduce farming, go fix your broken micro transaction store. Which the community has been telling you to do since the Demo.
