You replaced the eighty billion useless character training cards with eighty billion ammo cards. Don't remember asking for ammo..weapons  upgrades maybe. So now I get ammo, ammo, ammo, ammo, ammo, AMMO, more fr*kken AMMO and more useless ammo and 'gear'. 43 'strength enhancers....'?

I honestly liked the character cards more, at least those boosted my N7 rank. :P

I only have issues with client-server bugs. Since connect's not perfect - almost never host, mostly join. And that brings a whole lot of bugs. Rest of the game is good.

But for god sake, elder scrolls daggerfall sucks because it's buggerfall. If it was not buggerfall, it would be the best game ever. And --if-would-- does not count.

Kinda agree with OP, kinda agree with those that don't agree with OP, dichotomy is... probable.

Anyways...

BioWare - it's been six months already. You really, really need to give an official stance/update on what you're doing with this MP. We are three weeks away from Borderlands 2 - which, unlike Diablo 3, will *actually* take away a huge chunk of the remaining player base - and if you want to keep this game going I highly suggest you give us a patch/update before then.

The following things NEED to be resolved and we NEED to know exact turnaround times on them (no more "we're looking into it") if you want to have any hope of maintaining this game as a profitable business venture: missile glitch, vorcha glitch, object falling through map glitch, player falling through floor/ladder/off map glitch, vanguard glitch, connection problems, broken skill trees, store/pack drop algorithms, wave 11 payouts, dead ammo boxes, T-pose revival glitch, wasted ops survival packs, sync-kill on medi-gel, invincible enemies, smg ultralight mods, missing weapon mods.

If none of those are fixable, then at least admit your faults and let us know that you're no longer looking into resolving these issues instead of leading us on until the last remaining loyal few are rewarded with being completely abandoned as you move on to your next project.

If this is incoherent, sorry. I just finished a 16 hour non-farning marathon, and out of 880,000 credits (the most I've ever saved up) I unlocked ZERO new items.

I love this game, it just seems that the more one is dedicated to the Mass Effect universe, the more we get the shaft when it comes to being rewarded for that dedication. I just want a god damn Harrier.

Bye.

Can you give an example? You've actually seen someone forget they're in real life and be a jerk to someone's face and get told off or beat up? Just wondering, I've never met anyone I knew from an internet forum before.

Yep, pretty much this. They don't have much time left. I've been playing Castleminer Z on 360. I have zero friends playing ME3.

Borderlands 2 with friends on PS3 and 360. I can't wait!

I'm sure he's right on but we have seen these threas countless times. I'm sure BW is working on most of them. Fagnan already said the Vanguard glitch will be fixed in the next patch.

I agree with many things the OP stated. This multiplayer experience just wasn't built for longevity. The only enjoyable thing for me these days is playing the new DLC and testing out the new weapons and builds. Once you've unlocked that stuff (which doesn't take too long, with the exception of ultra rares and gear), the game gets boring very fast. The weekend events aren't fun, but I'll play those because they're easy to complete and *may* get me more Valiant or Hurricane upgrades. And there's no incentive to keep playing otherwise, considering that the store system is rng and you have no idea when you'll unlock your next ultra rare or Earth DLC gear. The fall lineup for games is pretty killer (Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Borderlands 2, Resident Evil 6, 007 Legends, Dishonored, Halo 4, Far Cry 3), so I can't imagine that ME3 multiplayer is going to survive much longer unless some truly stellar DLCs are released.

You have a large community of disgruntled, disappointed players I play with every day, who are tired of the way the game has been managed. There has been many hours of enjoyment especially building characters in new ways ...unfortunately, its been outweighed by the downside of the game.

While I agree with you, most people, including BioWare are going to think

"it can't be that bad if you're still playing it"

See, that's the thing, I hit my button for the two promotions and am not playing.  I have no desire to play it anymore.  Hell, I had more fun playing Call of Duty World at War the other day than this game.  That should say something about the state of Mass Effect 3..... Having more fun playing one of the most hacked and boring games ever created.

"But you did the weekend challenge" - Signing on and hitting a series of buttons for something that is effectively free to me isn't something I will pass up because it is simply too easy to do.  Even if I won't use said item, anymore.

OP is 100% right. Ignore the memetards and losers who talk about tears when they're likely crybaby ****es in real life. You have come up with a perfect list of MP grievances. As to whether or not any of them will be addressed, probably not.

Your first sentence is awesome. It reminds me of Mordin and seems very salarian which is amusing given your avatar.

The problem is that *if* they are fixing bugs, it is impossible to know how long it will take. I know this as I worked in software and system testing. Not the coding end. I hated coding. But the overall implementation and coordination which involved working with the server team and coding teams and other various departments. I was the tester and I'd see some bug fix then another would be discovered that was not there before the fix. This doesn't take BW off the hook, however, I have also worked with people whose companies never cared about fixing bugs so long as they were making profits and the 'general' usability is there, which is the case here. We can in general play the game. Most of us. So how much money and time and effort they are putting into it at this point depends on if they have any plans for another Mass Effect and what they think they can make on DLC from ME3. It also has to do with cost effectiveness of fixing bugs and things we complain about vs losing players and if that is costing them more money when it's bottom lined.

My guess, they never planned long term viability of MP. If they're smart, they'll at least have a final patch or DLC that removes readiness from the equation just before they decide to stop bothering with it. There's no way that this was designed to be a long term MP. If it was, the people involved did not think it through with any amount of understanding of what would make it long term, most of which it lacks.

I've actually seen it several times. People whom I've known to spend time in forums acting like tools then I've seen them make a statement they would have made in a forum either at their job or to someone they know or even do not know. The statement is the kind they would make in a forum where they hide behind their ID, but they've done that so often that the editor in their brain that would keep them from saying such inappropriate things no longer works properly. So I kid you not. Each of these people I knew well enough (beyond acquaintance but not close friend) to know about their online activities which they did discuss often not realizing stuff they were saying was inappropriate).

Damages were:
1. a person lost a job for making a forum like comment to the boss
2. a person got beat up and landed in the hospital for making some rude remark to a person he should have otherwise known to ignore.
3. a person lost several good friends due to random online type comments that became more and more out of line with what most people would consider common decency.

Those three stand out but there were many others. Some were much smaller things, like people would just gradually avoid that person until that person became angry/bitter about being ignored. I tried to explain it to them, that all the online forum postings where they mentioned to me how they posted this or that which were totally toolish comments, would lead them to no longer be able to discern appropriate from inappropriate in real life. Sort of like how you go may go through a period where you swear a lot because a lot of stuff is happening and that's your venting mechanism, but then one day, it becomes part of your everyday normal speech.

This is why I seem like I harp on this point of people being rude and having zero level of politeness here. It will at some point have an impact on your personal life and the impact will be negative.

Why not they make it like let us choose what to buy and sell. Like in the single player game. I got bunch of hand guns that I never use, ammo that I never use, rifles that in my opinion does not make sense... All the time those cool guns that I want is still not unlock yet...

Because there are people out there that pay actual cash for Microsoft points, which they promptly spend on Premium Spectre pack after Premium Spectre pack, making EA/Bioware lots of extra money. I salute them for the free MP content, but in fairness we had already paid for it through the store anyway. When people stop paying buy Microsoft points for packs, the store may change for the better.

Honestly, I think anyone who buys PSP or any other package must be mentally retarded. After all, who would spend real money buying a packet generated by a random system?

If BW want to save something this MP should begin by store. They have the whole script ready in SP. But I have the impression that developers are too lazy even to do the obvious.  Micro-transactions are more profitable, if people could buy exactly what they wanted, either with the game credits or real money.

Im not as feed up as the op is, but i do think his big "wall 'o text" represents a big chunck of the community who's not happy about how bioware has handled the multiplayer.
I guess i still have fun playing the multiplayer, i dont farm nor do i play just for the credits, still i can understand why people seem to prefer playing the farming game, but even doing that, they are not doing good :D

I guess its something regarding consoles, and having to pay for patching stuff the reason why it has not happened, as a long timer pc user i know bug fixes are something very "easy" to implement on a regular pc game. It is annoying to have bugs, such as the memorable vanguard glitch who's sole existence negates the normal playability of an entire class, wich is pretty fun to play if i may say.

Hope they get to read the wall 'o text. Cheers op!

Have people become geared toward illiteracy with all this 'wall of text' referencing'? Has the iphone and texting made it so people don't want to be bothered with anything more than 200 words? Or maybe even 100? Or is that just a derogatory slang term which really means 'ultimately I'm to lazy to bother to read and comprehend and/or I prefer to not read and comprehend things beyond one paragraph.'

At this rate, all the third world nations will look like geniuses compared to us.

Completely agree. The only instance in which paying actual money for a pack would be perhaps when you first start out with MP as a kick start to hopefully land something that will be a big help. But then again, the key word there is hopefully.

I would seriously consider paying if I knew I could upgrade specific weapons I use or get gear I'd use. As it stands, it is ludicrous to pay for even one pack.

I am still completely lost for words to explain why I still do not have a Javelin. Yes I have everything else apart from the Eagle and Collector rifle, but I have played the MP as much as I could since launch and believe I have earned everything I have, as a casual player. Plus in regards to the Collector rifle you have to spend a lot of money on items that are a novelty at best and I don't know if it would ever level up through buying packs. I have heard you have to buy a product for subsequent upgrades on it but I don't know if this is true.

Anyway, I could go on but I'm already getting off topic so I'll stop.
