Err...no you didn't. You claimed that you and a few of your chums were in a majority, despite the overwhelming threads & posts popping up on these boards about how poor the store is.death_for_sale wrote...

So, basically death_for_sale just got owned?
You are welcome to your opinion, but I have responded to and shot down, quite easily I might add, most of the comments listed. Feel free to read them in the previous post.
Everything else was you going "Na uh! That's not true! The game's super easy 'cause I'm super-awesome and if you're not super awesome like me, you should be playing a Sesame Street game! lolololololol"
Please point out where I didn't give examples and just said Nuh Uh. It is not an issue of being awesome, it us an issue of knowing how the game works. You do not have to be skilled or intelligent to do this, merely pay attention to the patterns in the game.
I guarantee that if you take the time to learn these patterns, you will be able to play Gold easily. Try it in your next game. Throw a grenade at a Phantom and watch them sit still to be shredded with weapon fire.
As far as the store, the post said that there was a majority that had no problem with the store. I am simply pointing out the poster's own thoughts on the subject and asking him if we should then cater to the minority.
I wasn't suggesting "Nuh uh" was a quote or what have you. I was highlighting the general tone of your responces. Same way you said you "Shoot down" JaimasOfRaxis "rather easily".
Who talks like that if unless they're trying to be snobbish?
"Well you ran against me in that race buddy, but I just whooped you, quite easily I may add."
It hard to infer an elitist tone from posts like that.
I never said I had problems with gold, I don't even play it. I have no interest. Gold is supposed to be the hard difficulty, I just want to have fun. Which is what people are talking about. If people are having to bring their focusing a-game on silver or bronze because of sniping phantoms/turrets, or as a result of balance changes to stop gold farming, then something is wrong. Especially for new players. I wouldn't start my gran who's new to Tetris on a level 6. But that's what's it's like for newbies now.
Yes people have to learn patterns and such, but there's a limit. If it forces all classes, all characters, all power builds to act the same way to defeat Marky Mark, then what's the point of having all these different choices in the first place? There's a reason so many people choose infiltrator. Because if you want to play casually, your best chance is to ignore all other powers and just use the guy who gives your gun a massive damage boost (or vorcha soldier). Fred Bloggs just wanted a quick bronze game with his adept as he sips his milkshake before bedtime. He didn't want to have to focus like it's an exam just to be able to hurt some invisible gal from the across the map.
It's funny that you mention this. I just finished playing with a guy on Gold that just started playing MP 2 weeks ago. He appeared to do just fine. This is Gold mind you, 2 weeks of playing.
Now let's look at Bronze, Far less enemies, double ammo and grenades from ammo boxes, enemies have much less health and do less damage, and if you ask anyone they will very likely tell you that it is easy mode.
If 'Fred' wants a quick Bronze game and still has difficulty, then this simply may not be the type of game that he needs to be playing. If he is forced to utilize a specific class, then there will be 9 other 'Freds' that will be able to do just fine with multiple characters.
Games cannot be based around the lowest common denominator style of player. If you do that, then people who have decent problem solving abilities and average motor skills will quit in a week.
