I highly doubt they would change their business model for the mp now, especially after the microtransaction model has worked so well for them. It would also split the player base, which would not be wise for a game that has been out for six months.

Something's must have changed because Resurgence, Rebellion and Earth was leaked weeks prior to their release. It kept forums alive because we spent time speculating and saving credits, etc. With no leak or lead to a new MP DLC, Bioware probably had done something to that guy who was giving out the information.
