1. I'm not seeing it convincingly in the pictures
2. No evidence of a pellet spread in the code for the talon

As for the Reegar, it is a terrifying demon of a thing. To feel as though I have any chance of understanding the BS going on with the Reegar's code, I'm basically combining classes 4 levels of inheritance deep into a single class while stripping out as much of the BS code I don't care about (sound, mesh, animation, textures, etc) so I can see what's going on. This is a very slow process, unfortunately (but allows me to try and figure out what's going on in a single function without forgetting in the time it takes me to track down its super or calling function or some called function through 3 classes).

It's confusing. There are 2 links to 2 different data.
Here corlist says, that 'Paladin's snap freeze seems to be fixed and no longer works without picking it' and 'Tech combo on Paladin's snap freeze only works with Cryo Explosions', but both statements were struck and here he states opposite stuff. Which post is correct eventually?
It'll be nice to get answer from corlist or peddroelmz. Thanks in advance.

The most recent one is the correct one, d'uh! XD

Nice to see people still know about this thread without me linking it in every "I have a question" thread

I don't play the paladin much either, but lemme sum it up: take reach on the paladins, and don't take tech combo. Easy.

Sorry, my bad. Have answered this question so many times that I didn't even bother opening the links. Now I did, and well... They say the same thing actually. Keep in mind that if a a statement is struck it means that it was found to be false later on.

So on the paladin, tech combo is still bugged and does nothing, while evo 4 reach doubles the damage of CEs, plus adds reach. On the aiu I think everything works as intended.

Just noticed yesterday that Claymore with Smart Choke on a class with no accuracy bonuses generally lands its pellets in an X shape of some sort.

Dunvi solved this one - check her post on the previous page for most (hitscan) shotgun pellet patterns

peddroelmz, what 'bout Snap Freeze on the Paladin N7? Is Deerbeer right? 4b still gives double damage of Cryo explosion and 6b don't work at all?

- Picking 4B (reach) on the paladin's will cause snap freeze it do 2x Cryo Explosion damage when used to prime. It will not increase tech burst or fire explosion damage even if you choose tech combo.

Belief is up to you.  The most recent is likely the more accurate.  You sound like you think this is a customer service help desk or something.

And you sound like a troll. Two different posts with two different conclusions has the same link - https://docs.google....O-96qx9P94/edit . It says 'tested on 24 may 2013' If you can't notice the difference it's not my problem. Posts has no data, just '7 month ago'.

Sabotage tech vulnerability + debuff

Sabotage's tech vulnerability stacks separately/multiplicatively instead of additvely with other debuffs such as proxy mine.

e.g. If a target was hit with a proxy mine (20%), scanned by a recon mine (25%) and sabotage, it will take (1 + .2 + .25) * 1.5  = 2.175x more damage.

This works for eligible tech powers, heavy melee attacks as well as all 3 tech combos.

Because of this, the Quarian Marksman using both a 25% tac scan and sabotage vulnerability can do up to 5900 heavy melee damage to non-armour defence.

data

-----

Krogan warlord fire hammer/ tech combo

Choosing fire hammer on electrical hammer increases its armour damage multiplier to 1.5x. The 250 damage DoT also benefits from this multiplier. This triples its base damage against armour to 750.

The DoT on fire hammer, along with electrical hammer itself, also benefits from melee weapon mods.

Fire hammer cannot prime fire explosions on shields (and probably also barriers).

Tech combo on electrical hammer only works when used to detonate tech combos - it does not work when it is used to prime.

Fire hammer's DoT can be absorbed by incendiary ammo because of a glitch, which massively increases the DoT dealt. This only happens when incendiary ammo is applied after fire hammer's DoT is applied.

Who-hooooo!!!! The test guys are back! :wizard:

I'd have never thought you'd start testing again. Thank you so much, both.

Also, gotta try that Quarksman heavy melee stuff... XD

Anyway, may I propose to test something that has bugged me for quite a while? ... Phantoms' on host DR. Would that be possible? Just test it a bit to see how high it is, and maybe even how it behaves... It would be great to know something more about it.

I mean, right now I've disabled it via coalesced, and it still feels those stupid Phantoms take the damage they want, when they want... Although to a much less degree, of course.

Thoughts? Apart from "hey **** it, we just came back, and you're already asking for most tests?!?!"

No pressure as always, I just thought I'd put it here for when you guys feel like it, if ever.

EDIT: by the way... The fact that the incendiary glitch only works with the hammer if you use the hammer first... Is there anything like that with other powers too? Cause I've always heard people advising to warp before you fire your gun, which always striked me as I always thought it's not really necessary to do it in that order... But then again, I have no experience at all with that glitch, so...

Used to test it pretty extensively. It is 75% (at least on gold). It does not work when the phantom is in cover, flipping over cover, climbing ladders, somersault-dropping from heights, staggered/in stasis/etc. 1337hax shooters probably also know that it stops working for a brief moment at the end of a phantom side flip dodge. Works against everyone's(?) projectile powers and all host hitscan weapons.

Hmmmm..... IIRC Cyonan had previously tested Tac Scan and said that it gives an inherent 7.5% at rank 1.  It follows that a Quarian Marksman with the full 25% should actually get 32.5%

Edit:  Thanks for the post.  It is great to see you guys back.
