I would suggest people do as they please.  I am not assuming everyone who says they won't buy it will.  I for one will not buy it until I have viewed one or several player reviews providing information that the DLC is indeed worth it.  I am one of the many people who still feel burned by Bioware for ME3, but I am not completely opposed to buying it.  I will buy it if after reading reviews I feel it's worth it.  I will make an informed decision instead of trusting in past releases; ie preordering or buying on day one.  If the reviews are subpar I will look to youtube to watch Leviathan and be content that way.

ME3 made me a wiser game purchaser.  In the past I would preorder games based solely on the developer's game history.  ME3 has taught me that is not a viable option for me anymore.  So be smart people, whether you buy it day one, later in the week/month/year, or never buy it, be smart about your purchases.

No DLC for me for Now  , i dont hate/love Bioware , its a company and im a costumer , i just dont trust them anymore to pre- order anything or buy on the release day.

Now i look at players review , wait the price to drop , this is not being a hater/fanboy , is being a smart costumer.

It's amusing how people come here to show their dislike with ME3 and DLCs being released, but they can't help themselves, and will run tomorrow to youtube, to see what the DLC is about.. It's a bit contraditory... For me it's like saying "I wan't to play, but I can't assume that I wan't to play, because I need to keep my statement that ME3 s*cks and DLCs are bad"..

In my case it's more like "I dont want to spend more money in this so im gonna watch others play."

Is it true that there's no squad dialogue recorded?  If so, kind of defeats the purpose of multiple run-throughs for me.

Like how BdtS was.  Couldn't even talk to them for their canned "not now Shepard!" dialogue.

didn't they say that squadmates will have new dialogues? i mean they had them in for ec and they were already planning or working on leviathan, so would make sense for them to do some lines for it

some ppl on forums said they aren't but you can't trust these ppl    no facts just speculations

I'm loading my save before the Cerberus base. I'll be bringing alongside me my longtime squadmates Kaidan and either Garrus or Liara.

I was originally planning to take a break from Mass Effect for a while as I thought it would probably be later in the year. So instead I started a playthrough about a week ago with my Paragade/Renegon Adept who romances Liara and makes a lot of Paragon decisions while still frequently using Renegade speech checks. For whatever reason, I tend to finish things quicker with this character than others even though he's not a favorite, so I'm already in the middle of Rannoch. I'll probably go back to the Citadel when I finish Rannoch and then do Leviathan if it sounds urgent enough (the Ardat-Yakshi monastery and the escaped Cerberus scientists are also in the queue at the moment).

I just finished the Rannoch missions on my main Shep's NG+, so I think that's a perfect place to start the DLC. The romance is also active by that time, so it'll be interesting to see if any dialogue changes if a squad mate is your LI, like DA2's DLC did. First playthrough, most likely Kaidan and Javik, or maybe Garrus. I can't wait!

As for the topic in question...hmm, I'm not really sure. I did start doing a new run, but I might load up one of my existing post-Rannoch saved because I have everyone on the crew. I'm most interested in seeing how Javik and EDI react to this situation because Javik loathes all synthetic life, while  EDI has integrated Reaper code into her programming (and is an AI).

I still want to take everyone else along too just to see what they say (particularly interested in seeing James react to it - I think it could potentially be humorous).

There was a gameplay demo and there you see Garrus and , if I remember correctly, James talking. So yes, there is squad dialogue this time. I'm loading my cronos save first and take Ash and Garrus with me.

It looks very interesting. I like that they've taken many elements originally planned for Arrival (underwater base, mythological representations of reapers) and put them in this DLC. Bonus points that's it's written by Weekes. But I promised myself that not another cent of mine would support EA's business practices or Bioware's artistic integrity, and I have a nasty habit of keeping my promises.

I wanted to start it after coup citadel, but unfortunately I'm gonna start before Sur'Kesh. What's more of a twist my new computer will arrive in the same time as Leviathan :S I'm just gonna setup it as fast as i can to play it !

I wont be buying it. No reason for me to support this game with my hard earned money unless they fixed the ending or confirm the "Project X". So I will be spending my time on Guild Wars 2 while waiting the day comes. Shoot me whatever you want guys

Yes, he does.

Though, this brings up a question - I just got to that part with a Shepard who captured Balak alive at the end of BDTS, so why is Balak out and about at all?

Leviathan of Dis =/= Leviathan from DLC.

My first two playthroughs are done, so they'll be before Cronos

however all other playthroughs will most likely be post-Thessia. The Leviathan mission seems appropriate after Shep's defeat there

I'll start right before Cronos with Garrus and EDI. I'll probably play with everyone just to hear the dialogue if the DLC is any good.
