Having seen first
hand the kind of ridiculous harrassment that my wife and daughter have
received over XBL, yeah, there are plenty of people who care, and not
all of them kids.  Adult men as well.  It's sickening.  My daugher (an
adult now), still typically stays in private chat parties.  I get why women would prefer to game with other women rather than randoms.  You should be able to enjoy a game, using voicechat, without a realistic chance of being called a c**t, w****e, b***h, and worse.  But that's not the case on consoles using voicechat.

When I see people saying/doing stupid stuff like that on Xbox Live, it's more often because they know they will be gratified with a negative response the majority of the time, than the fact that they are female.

No, in most cases it's guys thinking with their dicks and lacking the social skills to get along with women in their own "comfy" environment.

No, it's just that many of you are so easily trolled.

More so the ones who make it their personal business to let everyone know that they are in fact, female when it bears no relevance to player skill. I've seen it happen enough times in PvP games to know how things work.

She only does it when she wants the entertainment.  Most of them are not expecting the kind of tirade she can drop.  And there's no one on XBL who can match the things she heard when she was working around jails and juvi detention centers all the time. 

She's way more likely to do it when a douche is bagging on someone else in our party (even if it's a random).  She's far more defensive of other people than herself. 

ME3 is generally a very positive crowd though.  Either positive, or quiet.

Whenever people are substantially in the minority, there's a 'stick together' mentality. If you're not a white male in the US, you may have experienced it from time to time. On ME3 MP, women are substantially in the minority. It isn't NECESSARY, it just sort of happens. Is there really anything wrong with it?

Upinya Slayin is on 360, and RedJohn is on PC AFAIK. Do you have 2 copies of the game or something?

Oh crap you're right lol...okay well I know I had a game with RedJohn. Nothing remarkable there. I definitely played a game with one other semi-well-known BSNer...and I distinctly remember being less-than-impressed by their 4th place score.

SUre wasn't me. I always play bets in PUGs. although friday night i was playing so horrible i wanted to break my xbox. my worst night of ME3 by far.
