I also met scrabgun in a U/U/G match. He was a geth infiltrator with the piranha :\\

I also met two forum members that didn't bother trying/using consumables/leeched.

Ended up in Air Quotes' Giant/Reaper/Silver lobby a few nights ago. Needless to say, I then proceeded to die in the first wave with my Turian Sentinel, decided the Indra wasn''t for me, proceeded to use the Phalanx for the rest of the game and scored last. One of my worst games ever. Not Air Quotes' fault though, clearly - can't even blame the connection.

Oh?  I wonder if I've seen you.  What difficulty do you play, typically?  Mostly silver, here, as TirelessWayfarer.  If we have played, hopefully it wasn't during one of those stellar server disconnects on wave ten.  I've had a few of those as of late while hosting.

Most of the people who disagreed with him weren't accusing him of being sexist to support their argument (I'm actually interested in how you have this impression, because I though Bjorn, DuckSoup, Bekkael and others' responses were quite measured given the circumstances). The typical counter was that female gamers have a legitimate interest in playing with other women, that female gamers experience harassment implicating their gender more often than men do, and that he was taking their comments too seriously for their context, which was friendly banter between forumites who are acquainted with each other in-game.

Honestly, after having read through the entire thread from that point for the first time just now, it seems clear to me that the off-topic argument that that comment started had very little to do with him being accused of sexism at all, and much more to do with the abrasive and confrontational way in which he approached what is kind of a third rail topic in online gaming.

Basically this. I rarely disagree with what ashen has to say, I just think he has such a crappy way of saying things that people ignore the factual parts and focus on the negatives. If he said the same stuff in a less DB way then he'd get alot more response. He isn't a bad poster and he knows the game, he just has no good way of expressing his thoughts w/o being offenseive

I have played with Ronnie Blastoff, Ashen Earth, Whlte Rider, holdenagincourt, and a few others.

All of them are pretty good.

If there is ever a White Geth Infiltrator with Cyan lights, black stripes, and a Javelin IX who always glitches the rocket launcher off his back so he looks cooler and is decimating enemies left and right...

That's probably me.
