I've played with that dude, too.  He was a real jerk, but I do agree that his voice is way sexier than I imagined.

Before joining Team Arelex, I did receive the highest honor of playing with Killahead, whose gameplay is as provocative as his posts and his stance on nerfs, politics, religion and abortion.

I also got to play with Holdenagincourt and Defleshing.  All were good players.

Since joining Arelex, I've played with Arelex, Slimjim, Geekfest, Goosh, Ashen, among others.

When you use the term "celebrity," I've always pictured people like Descy.  I feel a little weird about being thrown in there, since most of my posts are nothing but nonsensical ramblings.  I hope I didn't play terribly.

I'm sad I haven't played with you yet Jack. Soon I hope. Same to you Bechter.

PUGs have been monstrously painful lately.  It's to the point I will play with sub 100's on Gold just because they are willing to play UUG games.  Of course, N7 doesn't mean much (after 120, usually), but I have been surprised at how well some very low N7s play.  I look forward to seeing how dominant they become when they max out their rares.

If you are signed up for the tournament I will try to swoop you in the draft. I haven't been playing as much recently hopefully we get the tournament going that will regain my interest. Especially since their hasn't been any leaks of multiplayer DLC which makes me a sad panda.

I usually play PUGs, and sometimes I recognise a few names from here. Had a few fun matches with Killahead for example. I also played a few games with Protoman. Both great players.

Funny thing that.  If a known member of team Arelex is in my lobby, I sometimes tend to play more nervously, hoping I don't appear as a total noob next to their speed-run awesomeness, even though I'm a member of Arelex's team, lol!  I also end up trying to step up my game and take my best builds/equipment, not always to great success I might add.  Fun anyways though.

On a funny sidenote I always try harder in PUGs. you never know who your gonna run tino and I kind of have a reputation to uphold i guess? But its mostly because I don't liek getting beat out by randoms. Still if it comes down to running up the score or reviving i'd rather come in 2nd to a random and grab my teammate. Points aren't everything

I get nervous when I play with AreleX,I rarely do anymore and he was teaching me before Team AreleX existed. Thing is though, every since Team AreleX everytime I've playeed with him something has went horribly wrong (ET sync-killed 7 times on Goddess/Reaper/Gold, failing to be a good Fury [I did warn him though in my defense).

Everyone else in Team AreleX has become more of a second nature thing, Bech I was getting games in with long before AreleX and the rest I just play with too much to get nervous, they've seen the worst and best of me and all that). RELIX, meh, I can't remember the last time I played with him. All I know is that I've never played with you lol.

But seriously, no. Then again, most of the recognizable folks you see here all the time are on PC or XBox. Not really sure I know of too many PS3 "celebrities" here other than SalvationThroughDestruction, and don't believe I've played with him. And I have xcrunr1647 on my friends list, but we are like passing ships in the night that keep missing each other in rooms, so STILL haven't played with him yet. LOL

Have had a few folks bump into me in PUGs that recognize me from the forums, though they're lurkers and not posters. That was pretty cool, actually, getting recognized like that.

When I met RedJohn in a random lobby with my old account when Earth DLC cames out.

I was hosting the game and we where waiting for another one, then he joined and I was like "oh let's see if this guy is legit or is bullsht" because in that time I thought that he wasn't legit for his videos of only extraction.

game was U/U - Platinum

He was playing with Female Quarian Engineer, I admmit it, I wanted to kick him because of that, but I wanted to see him playing.

Game starts. we finish in Vancuver Cerberus.

Wave 1, die 5 times, and his score was 500 or so... I was thinking in that moment " i knew it, this one is bull****"

Wave 2, die couple of times more, his score at the end was like 2000, I was convinced, so I wanted to kick him as soon as the game finish.

He was last in score until wave 9 began, I was the first in die so I wanted to see how that noob would fall, but it didn't, 1 minute later he was the only one alive.

Then it seems that he stop to lagging so much, and surprisingly he pulled of wave 9 alone, and so he did with wave 10 because the rest of the team died at the beggining of the wave, he always used a convination of the "roll" of the Quarian + powers + his harrier, it was amazing see him playing like that, a shame i could see his aim but I know his good since that moment, he did the objective alone, it was 1234 devices, and he did it alone in platinum, with a FQE.

Next game he didn't lag, i didn't kick him because he proved me that he's good.

Next game was awesome, he played with Batarian Soldier ( character that I considered **** all the time ) and he didn't die a lot that game, and again, he did wave 10 alone.

I added him since that moment and after get this new account he has carried me through Platinum being an N7 1 and I've seen him playing that much since that day, that I can assure you that the guy is one of the best players here.


I also played couple of games with Flamko long ago, with Specter and Stentron,

each one of them is really really good, I can say that maybe they are the group of the best players in the game.

but for me the ones who have really impressed me are Flamko and Redjohn, RJ is not always on top score, flamko and Specter always top score.

Specter is amazing, he's aiming is just awesome and has a great knowledge of the game.

Stentron is amazing too, he kills very fast top scorer too, most of the times for launchers but he always do it lol.

RedJohn is RedJohn, he is not always on topscore but if he is the last one on the game he will always solo it, no matter the character, no matter the weapon and even not matter the level.

Flamko and RedJohn are in the same box, as I said, Specter and Stentron are great players, but RJ and Flamko have something in common, no matter what you give to them, they will solo the wave, no matter character, weapon or even level, the difference is that Flamko always topscore too.

I would really like to see a game with these 4 players. It would be awesome.

Not to name specific names but I have been in a lobby with two DNC guys. Left after watching them kick 3 people in a row, for whatever reason, including one running the same kit as myself, who was not kicked. We could have been into wave three by then.

Yeah, I started playing with Arelex, Relix and the gang long before Team Arelex was born, before the first DLC (Resurgence) had even come out.  Twas my first Gold experience and I've not turned back to regular Bronze/Silver matches since.  I don't end up in that many invite matches though as I don't appear to play at the same times as many of them.  I end up pugging a lot, carrying matches to wave 10 if I can, or dying horribly early after wave 6 or so if the team is real bad.

Having been from the submarine community myself - the only celebrities I know wear fish.  Everyone else is a NUB.  Worse, a delinquent one!  Dink NUBs sink subs.  Period.  Get your Dolphins.
