So posting a lot on the forums makes you a celebrity? That made me laugh. I never bother to look at anyone's username when I'm playing random matches because I simply could not care less.
Well, that's kind of your loss dude. Nothing wrong with being a tiny bit social and seeing who you've played with. It is Bioware SOCIAL Network after all.
I've often been curious about if I've played with people on here. It's not because I could not care less that I don't remember, I just play a lot of PUGs
I've met a few and they were not very nice to put it more polite terms. When I meet people that I would not mind having on my friends list and playing a few matches with then I will be a bit more social.

I wouldn't say i'm a celeberty by any means but I think the OP was kinda using it more as liek there are people taht psot alot so their GTs are probably recognizable by people.
I have had ranoms in PUGs ask If i was the guy from the forums, I have had people on the forums FR me and send me PMs tahking for advice and asking If they could play with me. I do my best to accomdate all fo them. I wouldn't call myself a celeberuty at all but I would say i'm pretty well known amongst forumites , mostly cause i post alot and I try to give good avice instead of talking down and inciitng arguments
That's exactly what I meant Upinya.

It's good to know that there are people who are willing to help others and contribute to making other people's gaming experiences better.
there are. alot of them are with arelex. Thats how i learned to speedrun and in turn i've taught others how to do it. as we all teach each other we all get better and eveyone wins. Don't let the negative people on the forum get you down, just ignore their comments and focus on teh good ones

I hope so, I put the big searchlight with a "U" on my roof for a reason.

I played with Ashen Earth a few times, but connection issues made the game not very enjoyable.
I was in a game with Pyth the Bull, but the host quit as soon as he joined and I hit "B." Does that count?
Those are all I can remember.
I'm not counting the forty-something forumers I helped with Broadside because those were planned games.

So what qualifies a person to be a "BSN celebrity", OP?
Are there any benefits that come along with being one?
I think the benefits are that everyone thinks you're a dick, but wishes they could have your manifest haha

Anyone who can give you a run for your money lol. The benefits are knowing you are in the top 98% of players if they can outscore you using your GI.

If there is a ranking system amongst the "celebrities" and those mentioned are "A-listers", then I qualify as a mythological creature in the same vein as Bigfoot.
^He jests as usual. His Ryncol Lite posts are legendary...
If by celebrities you mean people who post a lot on the MP forum, then yes I have played with quite a few: All these are on xbox except Capn233
tMc Tallgeese
Invaderone
Ashen Earth
Micah3sixty
Capn233

Let's face it. Some posters here on BSN have a certain amount of "celebrity".
Upinya Slayin, Beerfish, Jack Crapper, DNC Protoman, etc.
Have you run into any of these well known BSN'ers in your humble lobby?
PS. I met Jack Crapper last week. He doesn't sound anything like his avatar.
Having been from the submarine community myself - the only celebrities I know wear fish. Everyone else is a NUB. Worse, a delinquent one! Dink NUBs sink subs. Period. Get your Dolphins.
(This is all a big inside joke for Submariners)
There ain't no pride in a Trident Ride, and there ain't no slack in a fast attack.
Sadly, no - I have met very few people in my lobby that are from the BSN.
Wow that takes me back. *Dolphin pinning "ceremony"....ouch*

Players around where I live (Anchorage, Wasilla, Seward) haven't been able to connect to the servers since the downtime, so I can't play. I've already moved onto other games.
EA support told a few of us to check with our ISPs, but I haven't had any issues with other games. And ACS (My ISP) said everything is fine on their end. And it better be. I'm not paying $130 a month for crap service.

It is sort of silly.
Player A asks the community for a good build. Good players explain a good build and why it's a good build. Player B says the good players are elitist ****s for telling player A how to play.
The cycle continues...

I also play with roughly the same about 20 people or so. we know each other all really well. did a ME3 drinking game, and our in game conversations are rarely related to in game. We joke around about stuff have funny conversations etc. Its no different to me then when i got to a poker game at a friends house and were joking with eahc other the whole time while playing. I honestly probably wouldn't play half as much if i was only doing PUGs and people had no mics
I would have left the game around the time Earth came out if my wife hadn't sarted playing it. Sitting next to eachother on the couch, carrying PuGs, coordinating, watching eachother's backs, screwing around. That's what has made the end game (post max-rares) worth it to me.
I wish other people could find that kind of joy in it.
That mush be nice to have a wife that will play with you. Mine only plays FB games.

"Elitist" is probably the most frequently misused word on the forum, right after "viable", and "OFFICIAL"
