I find a place to use my skills effectively. If that is a problem for you then you can leave my game lobby.
If you trash one strategy then you might as well trash them all cause everyone has their own way of playing that works to get the job done. If its a problem then you dont need to be playing a game that has strategy required.
Your strategy works for you.
My strategy works for me.
Som3g4m3r234's strategy works for him.
Dont push that running around with your head cut off will help for everyone cause maybe its harder for them to know what to do or what to shoot. For me its the problem of who is shooting the same boss. I cant tell who is shooting who when im running around with my ass being shot up.

your vib is completely wrong... i never played a second of cod.
But let me counter your camping lovefest... when is the last time you sat and camped for 30 minutes on SP?
Also, to counter your counter, at what point in the SP do you find yourself facing wave after wave of enemies? You dont, apart from the last mission 2 seperate times, both of which are much easier and shorter then the MP.
you mean here????

Im tired of plat runs on glacier whereas soon as the game loads, 1 to 2 morons make a bee line for the control room. We need to start frap'ing games on how to play MP without cowering in a corner
Efficiency over class.
As one of the "grunts" from Red vs Blue said, and I quote....
"it's a legitimate strategy!!!!"
Don't get me wrong, I'm quite good at running around on gold (maybe not platinum, but still gold). But the problem is that most random squadmates are not. You just can't count on some of the other morons that play this game to actually be good at it, which is why often I'm limited to camping.
Personally, I found that it's much easier to run around on plat than gold. After a while I felt there's a distinct lack of enemy synergy on plat that is prominent on gold. So if you can run around on gold... I'd say chances are you'd do alot better with that on plat.

Find in my posts word "farmers". Where I wrote that word. Then I will continue discussion.NuclearTech76 wrote...
LOL. So if I run around and nuke every spawn point on the board and kill everything people consider me farming and now if I camp on a certain board people consider me a farmer. So good strategy makes you a farmer? I guess a roving death squad of characters with synergy is also farming?Star fury wrote...

Record some footage of you beating platinum in 15 minutes or less then. I have not played in a platinum game with friends that has taken longer than 21 minutes.whatsdafus wrote...

SP is linear and you have a clear spot that you need to get to. If you don't move in SP, you don't win. This is not the case for MP. You can easily sit in one spot and win, no movement required.whatsdafus wrote...

On gold I always run around but on platinum it is definitely easier to stay in one designated area. Not to mention that the group of players who managed a 10 minute glacier platinum round were borderline camping.
you are incoorect. the time it takes for you campers to win 11 rounds... roving already has beating 2 games.
it is not easier to sit in one spot, nor is it fun... growing blood clots is more fun then sitting in one spot.
LOL Gyuuniku.... 21 mins!!
told you we should frap

What is true for you, is not true for everyone.
Not everyone finds the same styles fun. Not everyone has the same skill sets. Not everyone enjoys playing the same classes or using the same kind of weapons. Not everyone finds running around in the open getting shot at is their idea of a good time.
If your looking for speed runs, then stop playing with PUGs.

No, I didnt mean there, and I wouldnt even consider that waves, though I guess I could see it as so. Still part of the "last misson."
Seriously, your entire argument is based on personal preference. Stop being an elitist saying "my way is the right way, all of you people not doing what I do are doing it wrong." Fun is subjective. Get over it.

As I said, REAL combat. Real combat isnt HERP DERP KILL EM ALL while running around. Thats a good way to get killed. Combat in video games is vastly different for the purpose of fun.
If something works for someone, and they enjoy it, why should they stop? What makes you think you should be able to make everyone play how you like to? This is a prime example of the stance people take on farming aswell, and BioWare already clearly stated their stance on that, "its an effective stradegy," aswell as saying nothings wrong with it.
Also, to counter your counter, at what point in the SP do you find yourself facing wave after wave of enemies? You dont, apart from the last mission 2 seperate times, both of which are much easier and shorter then the MP.
If you think that sitting behind counters without changing position, while enemies don't flank you or use grenades and can't get past counters is REAL combat... LOL.

Unless the guy is on the other side of the map whilst the other 3 people are somewhere else thus causing the spawns to flip, I don't care how someone plays the game.

Hes not pretending. This an old point of view, "If you dont play how I do you arnt playing right and/or youre bad at this game."

Quarian infiltrator = camp mode,
Geth infiltrator = stealth+reegar mode
N7-Shadow = SS and ES spam through walls
Paladin = huntmode shield bashing everything in my way which is awesome btw.
N7 Demolisher - Engineer = Nade fest! find a nice spot plant the ammo thingy and spam nades.
I could go on but you get the point, and it also depends on my mood and with that mood comes the class, MQI, Paladin and N7-Demolisher (engineer) are my favo chars atm so they will be nerfed soon

Yes, both strategies are unrealistic. And you're hypocrite because you criticize only one strategy for it's unrealism.
