I camp, I make no bones about it. My GE is a squishy crowd control system. I can hold a point on most maps against darn near anything that rolls up on me short of banshees. Get me out of cover and on the move and I'm lunchmeat - I hate delivery missions with a passion. I camp at chokepoints and/or to control spawn points. I stop the killers in the group from being flanked or enveloped most of the time.

I want to present you raw feelings of the brave and confident man, entering brutal horrors of fbwgg and camping.

Yes, using strategic camping within the battlefield environment to improve your chances of defeating an opponent is a crazy and foolish idea, much better to run around and deliberately cause enemies to appear behind your 'allies' lines....

Camping in one spot like glue, even when overrun or ignoring objectives I fully endorse complaining about, but these repeated posts whinging about tactically using certain maps environments to aid your chances of winning are just weird. What are you here to try and prove?

Yup.

If you have 2 players in a good defendable position, the other 2 can fan out and flank the enemy. Also, having that safe fall back position is great if you get overshelmed by enemy forces.

I do agree that campers who just sit in one spot and will not do the escourt (and other missions) are a pain in the arse. The is a time to take cover and fire and other times to take the fight to the enemy. A good player knows when to do both.

Couldn't agree more, imagine having to listen to that guy raging for 20 mins like that in a game where you're trying to have a bit of fun. He's the kind of gamer I know exists and am slightly embarrssed I share the same gaming interests with, I just hope I never have to encounter them in the real world. So full of misplaced rage and anger.

I have to admit to being a camper at the moment on Gold, simply because every time my Turian Soldier steps from cover it's like I become a giant target, absolutely battered from every concievable angle. I got caught three times by a Banshee who appeared out of nowhere last night in three consecutive rounds. Look left, look right, look left agBanshee!

I'll get better.

it just depend who is camping, how they do it.
if a man come to the gold or platinum match and do nothing and stuck in somewhere and take XP and credit; this is camping in my view.
but snipers, they need. if this is battlefield, I'll use M39 with ACOG or Iron sight cause it is good for runin' around a hot zone. but ME3's Sniper rifle is "Sniper specialized weapon" which mean, can't changes zoom ratio and will makes huge damage for far range. but... some people... don't like'em.

I do both, depending on what my team wants to do. There's skill in working out a strategic position & creating a killzone with your teammates. Doesn't mean you stay there all game though. Bunkering down is sometimes the best strategy for the situation.

There's often a sniper camped on the upper level in London, they normally do well for the first few waves, then get caught out.

I still revive them as they're still helping the team from a distance.

Very good advice actually. I should try next time when I get fbw instead of quitting.

Or, you could try not being a little (to keep it clean) punk, and actually be a decent teammate. God forbid. No, you'd much rather try to sabotage the match and make it harder for others to succeed if they don't choose to do things your way. Maybe if you stopped being such a tool, you could make some friends and be able to put together all the private matches you wanted. Then, you wouldn't have to care what others do in PUGs.

Why are you stressing about how others play the game? Just play the way you want to play and have fun and let other people play how they want. Trust me, you'll enjoy life a little more.

I tend to babysit snipers up there with my Demolisher; works out pretty well (it's hard for things to sneak up on you when they are being showered with grenades :D).

Wow, so much flaming just because the majority of the community doesn't play according to your perceived strategy and catering to your ideal way of having fun.

Why bother complaining about it here?
It's not likely like whatever you say here will even have an effect on 90% of the playerbase who rarely even visit this forum in the first place.

What do you wish to achieve by bashing on people who prefers to take cover and camp in a co-op game?
No one is going to just listen to you and stop camping, especially when you deemde all camper to be less competent players from the tone of your post.

At the end of the day, campers or people who adhere to a camping strategy, will continue to camp regardless of whatever you say here, and people to like to run and gun will continue to do so as well.

Just accept the fact that most people out there considers camping to be the most effective and valid strategy to go with their gaming sessions.

And before you bring up the silly idea of whether camping is fun or not, I personally only care about the credits,
To me at last, I find it fun as long as I complete objectives and get the due credits, nothing more nothing less. Everything else is irrelevant.
And I think lots of others have the same opinion too.

I am not going to force you to consider getting credits fun, neither can you force me to think otherwise.

Leave campers/farmers to their own game and play with your own kind if you must.
There is always also the solo option.

Just run around and solo every single U/U/P game all you want, no one else is going to care or bother about how you play by yourself.

The bottom line, don't play a co-op game if you cannot stand others playing different from how you play.

I could understand if you were complaining about something that doesn't actually work; but there's nothing wrong with camping (so long as people pick their spots with a little care).

Just because you don't like doing it, doesn't mean anyone else should stop doing what works for them.

I like how someone who doesnt play plat can then tell others how to porperly post

ironic no?

I like when playing platinum is a factor in the validity of a person's argument. Also he't not telling you how to properly post at all just that you aren't necesarrily 'right' in you opinion. Didn't say anything about posting.

IMO your argument is very elitist. My style is best style, other styles not valid, cheap and =/= to fun. No play experience exists outside my own.

camping is for losers who suck imo

i really wish bioware would penalize those who camp

1. I'm really glad you don't make games or are involved in the making of them.

2. I hope you're not involved in politics. It sounds like any experience outside of your own should be punished for existing.

3. Everyone sucked at this game at one point. Who are you to judge them for sucking now?

Im tired of plat runs on glacier whereas soon as the game loads, 1 to 2 morons make a bee line for the control room.  We need to start frap'ing games on how to play MP without cowering in a corner

Good. you don't have to understand them. Your job is to support them.

Would you rather your teammates running out like idiots and getting killed by every enemy that aims their way leaving you to solo? The same areguement goes for people that support sync kills. It just leaves more work for you, while i can lay back and watch you make credits for me. Now if you like that sort of thing, so be it.

It was actually the first fbwgg game for poor soul(maybe first gold game). They also had three hacks, so it's one of the most difficult objectives for campers. And he was shocked by all fighting, shooting, killling. Constantly complained to his buddy that they wouldn't make it.

Not my video, and my guess that the author used Fraps.

Rambos...

Why do they go out by themselves and get killed while everyone else is happily camping (and staying alive and killing stuff)? Sorry, Rambo, I'm not going to revive you anymore. I figured you'd wise up after the third time you went down and I revived you yet again...but sadly you just don't catch on. Bleed out for all I care.

I understand camping on FbWhite/Geth/GOLD to farm credits easier.

But i experienced 2 players camping on FB White/Geth on SILVER! And these 2 players had acceptable load outs and weapons.
the 2 players didn't help in Node objectives or target elimination.
