The gun can go through walls with the piercing mod on. What I want to know is, how do you know it was going through the floor and ceiling? You'd have to be glitching outside the map to know that.

As it fired an endless infinite beam that continued on through all the walls then i have the right to assume it went through the map. But thats up to bioware.

Hey guys. I'm the one this guy reported. Funy right? This guy is very unfamiliar with the game. I wasn't mad he was reporting me. I was thrown off that he would do it over his lack of knowledge. Anyway I was using the destroyer particle rifle x with incendiary ammo 4, densifies v, assault rifle 3, Tapping y to reload before running out of ammo. So now everyone knows this horrible glitch or the fact that I wasn't doing anything wrong and that it's part of the game. Tried explaining it to him. Maybe you guys can do a better a job than me.

Good luck by the way. He posted this and then everyone told him he was wrong and calling him a douche and he's still trying to defend himself instead of listen and learn

Lol. I don't care. I have told you. It is up to bioware to decide. Sadly your 'explanation' does not add up to captured film. You fired through death, through many walls, from your back, nonstop thick beam. Sorry, you can try to win support of the poor uninformed players who did not witness it but bioware can see what happened. And i told you that i did not care if they banned you or not, and this post was a question of there being such a known glitch. And calling me unfamiliar with the game does not help your case, as you are unfamiliar with me.

Empathy is not needed. I told him that i hoped he didn't get banned, but as i could not determine if he was cheating or not i had to report him. That is all, i fullfilled my obligation and i do NOT tolerate cheating in my lobbies. If one can not play platinum without it, then one should not play platinum.

Actually something similar happened to me with the Typhoon. It just kept firing, even when I lay dead on the ground. I had a HSold do the AR reload then somehow half way through the game I got glitched and the gun kept firing at max ROF and I couldn't stop it. And it seems to fire off my back. Don't know how it happened but its probably a glitched with rev up weapons.

I'm not sure how this works.. you can press y to reload while firing and you can continue the fat beam indefinitely?

Problem is there's not really a possible way to determine motive and a lot of glitches (which I don't think this was) can be activated by accident. I wouldn't get my back up if this was pc or ps3 since you could easily make a new online profile but 360 costs a lot of money to make a new account. So reporting without being sure is pretty harsh...

Interesting, and thank you, for being one of the first to answer my post for the question it is. Hopefully the info i sent bioware can help them get a patch for that.

I reported because i wasn't sure. Bioware doesn't ban everyone who gets reported. I sent in my info and let them be the judge. That is as fair as it can get.

And i checked with bioware support first, they have an ims support system and i chatted with one of their support workers. I do not take stuff lightly.

let BW decide, if it was an exploit or cheat they will find it and deal with it.

I play on PS3 and sadly i have stopped played Platinum for the time being because of all the missile glitchers that have reappeared. hopefully with leviathan we will get some sort of patch that will fix a lot of this.

When you activate adrenaline rush on the human soldier it instantly refils your ammo.

I know you may feel that you have to report people whom you think are cheating, but I've had a number of glitches (invincibility, endless firing of weapon, even had the vanguard glitch happend and saved my whole team because I couldn't die and was above the LZ distracting and killing stuff, even missiled the last prime when my whole team was dead half way across the map because I had an "advantage point") all by accident and that gave me an advantage and I'll hate to be banned prematurely as a number of people complained happened to them and go through all the hassle of trying to rectify the situation. So I'll be a little upset at the person(s) assuming and reporting. Also because of people like you I do try to check my email to see if Bioware sends me a warning/banning email or something because someone reported seeing me glitch and think I'm exploiting. 

A possible accidental exploit, I'll let slide but people rocking OHK weapons or rocket glitching I can understand reporting.

Edit: Also, I have a near max manifest, which took time and luck so if i get banned prematurely, I'm may not start over, I'll just quit.

It doesn't work with the Particle Rifle, but using Adrenaline Rush will force the gun to immediately start reloading and skip the overheating animation and cooldown period.


Any other gun is instantly reloaded.

I still think reporting may have been premature. The whole context of this topic is you not knowing if this was a glitch or a cheat. Makes no sense why you'd report someone if they could have quite possibly done nothing wrong. You should have asked this before reporting. Now this topic's point is rather moot.
