The only time I don't is when someone is being a dumb*ss across the map. Or if they're really annoying me by trying to literally kill every enemy on the map. It's not fun to play when people do that.

This mentality is everything that's wrong with players in this community. You should be glad if your team mates are actually killing enemies. All experience is shared between players, and completing the objectives faster, with a good, competent team means you all get more credits.

And looking at your manifest, you probably shouldn't be complaining.

Please take out any near by pyros before you try to revive. I see people ignoring pyros and start an immediate revive way too often. The pyros will start to flame the area as soon as your team mate starts getting up which results in both of you going down.

The same can be said for cerberus turrets and phantoms.

I always make an effort to get my team mates back on their feet but there are times that will only get you killed too. One gun down is better than 2-3 guns down.

The only time I don't revive people is when I'm pinned down. Other then that I'll run to the other side to revive someone

I guess I can be described as a rambo player, actually more like rambo lite. I don't purposely go off on my own but it just seems to happen and mostly playing a vanguard it is easy to get separated from the group. When I do go down and I know I am far away I don't expect anyone to make that effort even though I am someone who can and has soloed rounds before. Really if anyone gets far from everyone else and dies, the odds someone will get to you before getting stomped is low.

This actually happened to me today and the guy had the nerve to say as much.  Of course it led to a wave 7 failure.  If I had been far away I at least could understand it but seeing how I went down at his feet  it just didn't make sense.

Call me a fool if you will, but I do this very often and even more if I am an infiltrator.

Fortunately I don't have to deal with this particular brand of stupidity anymore.

It used to be somewhat of an issue back when I was still relatively new to the game, but now I'm good enough at soloing to not even need all 5 medigel.

Not that I would even think about using a medigel, or any consumables for that matter when there are people on the team who care more about their meaningless scores than the mission success.

Yeah I don't run into many people like that so that did come as a surprise. It wasn't like I was following him around and shooting every target, well unless they were the only ones left.

Risk it all to save them, no one gets left behind, even if there's a good chance I can't fight my way out after.
On rare occasions, if there's one more device to be disarmed and they're across the map, I have to decide, paragon, or renegade. =)

The only time I don't revive is if I'm in the middle of an objective and your dumb *** is halfway across the map killing mooks when you should be A) in the drone circle, B) in the hack circle, C) protecting the person uploading/watching their back/front/sides.

Aside from that, I'll haul butt to revive you, spend my missiles to clear the area, and waste my medi-gels if I go down trying to revive you.

That's just how I roll.... Like a Turian.

I will almost always try to revive any player. The only exceptions are:

1. If they are too far away. I will however gladly provide covering fire for someone who is closer.
2. If doing so risks failing the objective. If I am doing a 1234 hack, I will not stop the one I am on until it is done or I am under fire. I will not chase downed players around while carrying the pizza unless they are very close by, or along my path anyways.
3. If I there are just too many near by enemies to have a reasonable chance of success.
4. If there is a pyro, phantom, or banshee standing on top of them. I can't count how many times some cloaked infiltrator has rushed to my rescue, only to get both of us instakilled by the two banshees on top of me.

I don't care if someone is a lousy player, bad team player, rambo, or N7 1. I will revive them if possible. If nothing else, they can serve as cannon fodder...

I love the dangerous revive. Dart in, revive and dart out again before the enemy can react. not always successful though. But that's why its the danger revive! the most satisfying revive of all. I only play with friends though, so we laugh about it.

I tend to try and revive people in dangerous spots and have probably blown a few games doing so lol. I guess it's just a reaction for me in the heat of the moment but other times I might not even notice someone go down if I'm shooting stuff.

I play a lot of human soldier, so I normally would adrenaline rush and dash in to save the fallen teammate. if it's a good teammate (or a nice one) I would missile first. I've had other randoms cobra an area to save my sorry behind, it's really a nice feeling :-)

When I play with my team I always try to revive, but my teammates are clever enough to use medigel when they go down in an area that is difficult to reach for others.

With a random team this can be much more difficult. I will at least try to revive them... if they are not hopelessly trapped by enemies

I don't always die, when reviving, but when I do, it's because I'm a **** and didn't see a turret behind the corner.

But seriously: if there's a chance of reviving - I go for it. If it's the end of the wave and TM is on the other side of the map - I often don't give it a chase. It's faster to wrap up the wave, instead of running like stupid.

During objective waves, if it's a disarming objective, and I'm the one who is running around to do it, I don't revive; but I try in every other situations.

It all depends...Im more likely to go out of my way to save someone who saved me. I'll try hard to save a player if we're the last two alive.

I won't save Rambos who are too far away. I wont revive people who CONSTANTLY steal kills. I won't revive people who couldve but didn't revive me.

If downed played is surrounded I'll do my best to clear threats before attempting rescue I usually only kobra if I'm sure to get killstreak or multiple bosses or if we're the last 2 players.

But I've noticed that people REFUSE to use medigel what's up with that!? Is Cerberus hijacking shipments? is there a shortage? I don't get it. Nothing makes me leave a lobby faster than being the only to use 5 medigel while the rest of team uses none and just slowly dies.

If the player is running off to the other side of the map and constantly getting downed, I have a much lower patience level.

I do risk my neck reviving teammates though. I like to help.

Revive at almost any cost. (Unless I know it's a lost cause.) I'll steer the pizza delivery in the direction of a downed teammate, or hop off an objective to run out and save them. Maybe they'll do the same for you in a later wave.

For that moment in time, for better or worse, they are your team. Perhaps it's an old habit from L4D, but it works.

I always revive... but I usually kill everything in the area or try to position myself behind cover before reviving. Running into a mob to revive someone will just get you killed, and then you're back to square one. Having a staggering ability/weapon (grenades/scorpion) makes it alot easier.

#1 priority is to kill whatever it was that took that player down first. I'm usually playing as a squishy character, so don't see any point of rushing in to revive when all it'd do is add to the dead body pile.

If a player dies on the opposite end of the map, then I don't bother. If it is only me and him finishing up a wave, chances are I'll attempt to reach him in time.

I never revive no matter what. Thats why they have medi-gel.

Also it is not the infiltrators job to revive. His time is better spent actually killing things.
