People please! Before you tear this dlc apart, take time to absorb it. Play through it a few times. Try different dialog choices. Don't rush through it. Explore. There are more war assets to be found.

I think IT'ers will be excited. Maybe for a short while.

... and then the speculations can go wild!

How so? from where I'm sitting the dismissing of the "oily shadows" line as relating to Leviathan tampering rather than Reaper tampering suggests that the whole foundation for I.T. (The dreams being
Reaper indoctrination) is completely, finally, dead.

Which would be _lovely_

You don't know anything about the IT theory.

You made that up, right? :(

I swear to god I am not kidding, not joking, not trolling.

You are free to wait to see for yourself, but for whatever my word is worth, I am not lying.

I believe you. It just hurts. :( The nice thing about being on PS3 is all you 360 players got to do this first, for me, so that I didn't have to. >.>

Wait. How does this hurt? This is not bad.

My biggest problem with Leviathan right now is... I don't see what the point was.

I didn't gain anything. I mean, sure, Dominate and some more War Assets, but I already had more than enough for my Shep to live. I didn't learn anything about the Catalyst, and nothing new about the Reapers either. Even the Leviathans are just... bleh. Tracking them down is fun, but once you get them... it doesn't... feel like I accomplished anything.

Well that fits with the rest of the game...

I learned a little about the catalyst. Those that said it was just doing as it was programmed may have been correct, IMO. Levi's people are its creators. Boy did they do a major FAIL!

I guess the little AI was doing as it was designed.

It's like Garrus said before finding Leviathan.

"So you find this thing, then what?"

I don't feel like the "then what" was ever explained.

Maybe in the refusal ending... >:3

At Forward Operating Base Now.

Will keep you all informed.

1. You get to know the mind set of the beings that created the reapers.
2. You now know the catalyst is not saying it's own made up bs. It did not start the cycle and is doing what it's programed to do.

So in short this ensures the catalyst is not at fault.

Hah, interesting that the Rachni Wars seem to be of Leviathan origin.

Oh my... if the "Oily shadows" line was never intended to be Reaper influence to begin with.
Ho ho, another I.T. pillar shot down.

It's still indoctriantion. No hole at all in the theory.

1. Great, a bunch of super slavers decided that to keep their thralls from being killed by Machines, they should turn them into machines instead of killing them.

2. It's still running on idiot logic. It's still stupid. was created for a stupid purpose for a stupid reason and came up with a stupid solution. Just because Leviathan tells me it's working like it's supposed to doesn't impress me. It's the equivalent of the writers beating you in the face with a hammer saying "see? See how good our plot contrivance is?"

And again, the narrative with the Leviathans doesn't go anywhere. It's like half of a conversation is missing. What happens to the Leviathans? If the Reapers are gone, are they going to enslave the galaxy again? Once more, it doesn't matter WHAT you pick, the galaxy is STILL screwed.

Kill the Reapers? Guess what, now you got their just as terrifying creators to deal with. It never ****ign ends.

Wait. How does this hurt? This is not bad.

1. If the Leviathans enthralled the entire galaxy, and their thralls started making synthetics, which were wiping them out, why didn't they wipe out the synthetics, and then stop their indoctrinated subjects from making more? Problem solved. No Reapers, no AI-kid.

2. If the AI's directive was to "preserve all life" they must have done a terrible programming job since it started killing organics pretty quickly. Mind you, this is actually a problem with the main game itself, but it's still there.

3. If they can just shut Reapers down, how did they lose to the AI army in the first place? For that matter, why didn't they just wipe the stupid thing when it made its first programming error (building a Reaper)?

Essentially, it hurts because Bioware keeps going down this ridiculous rabbit hole. I had faith in them once upon a time, and thought they could learn from the mistakes ME3 presented initially. Then they proved me wrong with more nonsense from the Catalyst in the EC. And now they're continuing with it in the DLC, as if to create a foundation for the out of left field stuff they did originally.

And they can't even do *that* right without causing issues.

don't know if it has been mentioned,
but I liked the part when Shepard examines
the Sovereign fragment in Dr. Bryson's Lab...

Shepard: "So, Sovereign vanguard of our destruction, how is that working out for you big guy."

...then while searching around Shepard may look at the plesiosaur bone structure...

Shepard: "Loch Ness monster."

EDI: "Plesiosaur."

Shepard: "Loch Ness monster is more intresting."

EDI: "More intresting but non-exsistent."

Not at all, the Leviathan abilities seem to be _much_ more refined than the crude synthetic versions the Reapers use

Didn't seem like it. All you proved against the theory is that indoctrination is innate to leviathans... which disproves IT how?

1. But robots don't give tribuet. Also, getting sysnthetics would cause them to uprise.
2.Theissue ofthe catalyst is the defintion of life and how it varies. It doesn't have just a single minding or state. It did what it did thebest it can understand. Remeber, it was forced to do this. Add, it should be clear by now how arrogont the Leviathan are. Hell, they were slavers form the start and thought they could control everything.

As for the of your points, would that not be answered in the endings and not in this dlc?
