How large is a Leviathan compared to a capital ship?

Hah, interesting that the Rachni Wars seem to be of Leviathan origin.

Oh my... if the "Oily shadows" line was never intended to be Reaper influence to begin with.
Ho ho, another I.T. pillar shot down.

It's still indoctriantion. No hole at all in the theory.

Not at all, the Leviathan abilities seem to be _much_ more refined than the crude synthetic versions the Reapers use

So, that does not mean the machines can't use it. That's still not a whole in the theory.

Leviathan.....It's a BIG......STUPID.....JELLYFISH!! lol

loved this DLC tho. Up there with LotSB in my books

So my curiosity is killing me...

How can you enjoy something that has writing this bad? I'm not trying to insult your or anything like that, I just really dont understand. Is the story just not that important to you? What makes it good?

bad writing is all an opinion. i personally like ME3 and leviathan. do you like italian food or chinese? i dont. doesnt mean its bad.

Writing in terms of taste is subjective, but there are objective qualities to writing. Plot holes are just bad writing, plain and simple.

Additionally, (and this part IS opinion, I guess) I don't like how the Leviathans are like "We're going to keep you down here to serve us, even though you'll only last until the air in your mech runs out and stuff. Oh, well, now we change our minds."

And then a Reaper just... dies. Spontaneously. And that's th end of it. It's so... disjointed.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I can explain to you why I prefer Japanese food over Mexican food. Thats what I'm looking for. Just saying you like it doesnt tell me anything. I'm trying to figure out why you think its good.

After the Leviathan DLC I also pefer Japanese food over Mexican food. I can't wait to njoy my delicious fried squid tonight!

Didn't seem like it. All you proved against the theory is that indoctrination is innate to leviathans... which disproves IT how?

Full on mind control is inherrent to Leviathans, Reaper Indoctrination is no-where near as capable, you only get close when you factor in direct control implants.

Point being that the "songs the color of oily shadows" line was never intended to have any correspondence with the PTSD dreams that Shep suffers through and this just helps to illustrate that the two were never connected, because the Rachni were being controlled by Leviathans not Reapers. and we have illustrations _in the DLC_ that Leviathan control is a radically different beast.

Gives me warm fuzzies.

But they didn't, the Reapers don't have the same abilities as the Leviathans.

Obviously the torpedoing of that bit of I.T. is not all of it, but the rest of it is nonsense anyway so it's just nice to see more of it getting cast by the wayside as DLC expands the _actual_ story

My biggest problem with Leviathan right now is... I don't see what the point was.

I didn't gain anything. I mean, sure, Dominate and some more War Assets, but I already had more than enough for my Shep to live. I didn't learn anything about the Catalyst, and nothing new about the Reapers either. Even the Leviathans are just... bleh. Tracking them down is fun, but once you get them... it doesn't... feel like I accomplished anything.

1. You get to know the mind set of the beings that created the reapers.
2. You now know the catalyst is not saying it's own made up bs. It did not start the cycle and is doing what it's programed to do.

So in short this ensures the catalyst is not at fault.

Yes. The catalyst is just a stupid AI that can't think by itself and just does what it was programmed to. It's not its fault but now I can't take that glowy boy seriously. Not that I did before because I already suspected it was a computer that only thought from a purely mathematical perspective.

I'm sorry. I was proven right today to think the catalyst as being a shackled synthetic doing what it's programed to do.

Sorry, but everything you said about me is pointless.

But this lets you see what the real problem iswith synthetics uprising.

And does Terminator come to mind when you read all this too?

Looked a lot smaller, like the size of a "destroyer" reaper (maybe).

so. let me get this straight. the leviathans came first then their "thralls" created synthetics to kill them and then the leviathans created the AI program "the catalyst" in order to find a solution against these synthetics so the catalyst made the reapers by harvesting leviathans and splicing them with synthetics in order to preserve life? is that right?

Just took the beam to the Citadel, no new scenes.

Leviathan didn't take control of Harbinger or anything! What was the point?
