Ah I see what you mean . Thing is , indoctrination is subtle . It takes a very long time before indoctrination manifests completely . Shepard and his squad did not spend enough time around Reaper tech to become indoctrinated . For example , let's say you spend three days around a Reaper artifact . Sure you will feel the effects and you start to have subtle changes in your behaviour . But if you leave the artifact , the indoctrination wears off and is not permanent . At least that's what I've been able to gather from the games . Haven't read Mass Effect Evolution yet so maybe you're right .
Yea, I don't want to get into an arguement about IT.
But in Arrival, taking circumstantial evidence into play. Shepard didn't have any squadmates in arrival...
It's safe to say no squadmates are not indoctrinated, but Shepard, I dunno...
I mean, we never ever had a look into Shepard's psyche, yet in ME3 we have all these dreams and Shepard starts to doubt herself.. I mean, sure, there's a war going on and all that. But BioWare didn't have to show the dreams if there wasn't something else going on. What I think is that IT was planned, but was cut out at the last minute.
It's the only explanation.

Yeah that's what I thought too . That last dream sequence where Shepard and the child burned in a fire kinda made it seem that Shepard has fully succumbed to indoctrination .

Yeah I did too after rewatching it. I wonder if its actually significant? My guess is that its just an easter egg.

Anyone catch what time it'll be available for PC?
From what I remember Chris said between 2-3am MDT for xbox, then 11am-12pm MDT for PC.
So you're looking at a good 9 hours.

At 0:12 seconds. Shepard walks into the room and notices a giant whale skeleton above Dr. Bryson. According to some myths, Leviathan was a giant whale like creature.

The way I interpreted that was that Shepard was watching parts of her mind being lost to indoctrination.
It wouldn't be safe to assume they had fully succumb, because then everything afterwards wouldn't have played out the way it did.
But imo, the Shepard avatar we are using when running around in the dreams is Shepard's consciousness looking for the doubt in her mind, which is obviously the kid. To see why it's happening, each time that avatar goes to investigate. It gets lost when the child burns at the end.
Then in the last seen. When Shep sees herself burning. She's watching other parts of her mind being taken over by doubt/indoctrination.
Therefore the avatar we use in each dream sequence, isn't the same avatar each time but different parts of Shepard's consciousness.
Or that's my interpretation anyway.

I take Liara and Javik because it makes playing as an adept on insanity that much easier. Sorry for not quoting, my stupid phone is acting funny.
Yea, Liara is a must for me. So second spot is out of Javik and EDI. Probs go with Javik.
And it's okay, phone's suck for internet.
